Hello there! My name is Sam and I am looking to start a career in web design soon. I have been practicing in my spare time for a while now and feel pretty confident using HTML and CSS. My Javascript knowledge is also reasonably good and I've experimented with PHP. Got a basic understanding of a few other things like Ruby too. I'm currently using Treehouse, which I have found very helpful. I've also subscribed to Web Designer magazine and a few podcasts in an attempt to immerse myself in web design as much as possible. Hi, I am looking to get a website developed for a business i am looking into setting up but was wondering if there was any resources I could use to develop a prototype before approaching a website developer to set up. I have a pretty clear vision of how I want the website to look and the functionality I would require but as the website is an integral part of the business I would like to develop some sort of aesthetic prototype that I can use in my market research before fully committing to website development. Hi Guys & Gals, Been a web designer for sometime now and use a variety of software for sites depending on clients requests and formats, I also delve into css, jquery and php and hope to pick up more info via the forum and also be able to add some help as and when requested and needed. My full time job as a chemical engineer and working on a continental shift pattern does keep me away from the PC but it also give me loads of free time when on my rest days to both work on projects and also catch up on the gossip. Hello my name is Rob. I have a lot of interest in computers and how they work. I work full time and in the last couple of years have been spending my spare time learning to build computers. Recently my attention has turned to websites, how to build them and maintain them. My farther has recently had a website site built for him and in my opinion it's not very good. I find it complicated, slow not very user friendly. This has prompted me to take my skills to the next level. I like to learn and I would like to do online courses in the evenings.
