  2. Choosing wordpress is going to a big task to you. You will have to customize a lot and to do custom plugins too. Well it is not a free work as it is little big work. If you were going to give a 5 page static website , then may be you can do it as free. But not in this case.
  3. Try to add a sample rewrite and test wheteher the url rewrite working or not see an example below, RewriteEngine on RewriteRule ^/?my-test-url mytesturl.php Create a file mytesturl.php and call your website . See if it is working or not.
  4. Don't simply set a site for ressizing the image. You need to scale it properly . You can reduce the width and set the hight to auto . So it won't be a blured image . It is always good to use a resize tool too.
  5. Can you check if there is another .htaccess fiel in the parent directry of your document root ? Also what is the permision of .htaccess file. ?
  6. You may probably need to configure the document root propery . That is the reason , the css are not woring in your production servers.
  7. You may check the dns template settings from whm . There is a chance that www CNAME lines are missing from that template. That will be the reason adding new domains are not working with www.
  8. Try to increase the maximum upload file size in php.ini and apache memeory limit in your vps. That will fix the issue.
  9. The thing is if you can see it on browser , you can download or copy it. If you give access to the restricted site for your members only and if the download after getting the membership, what should you do.
  10. +1 for this . Go with ubuntu and forget everything. After installing ubun. use the apt-get command to install apache + php + mysql.
  11. It is better to serve the content of your domain from only one name either www ot non-www. So make sure to redirect the other one . This will help in search engine optimization by avoiding duplicate website issues.
  12. You cal also try the OSWP rules too. That is well integrated with the cpanel.
  13. We use pingdom and siteuptime.com . Both are good. It is good to use a service that will check the availability of your website from different world locations.
