Hi I don't really want to post my logo's here for privacy reasons but basically I gave the graphic designer a brief and I'm not entirely sure that she followed it. I am not even sure that I like any of the designs. Her fee is fairly high and now I am not sure what to do. I am happy to PM the brief and the designs to anyone that may be able to help give me an objective view. Thanks

Hello there. I'm looking for a vector ornament like one in an attachment. OR an advice on how to easily simplify this image after its tracing (because Live Trace tool under any circumstances doesn't directly do it as I want). Any help would be appreciated.

I have been messing around with the use of the wrapping abbility in adobe photoshop cs 5 extended and I made some nice idea's for a logo. However we all know photohsop is to pixelated. I treid to look if Adobe Illustrator has the Wrap abbility but it seem it doesn't have one. So now I wonder if there is any wrap pluing for the Illustrator? I just can't seem to find 1 trough google. I am doing website design in college and I also coach american football, so for my assignment i need to create a website, but upon noticing that the club i coach hasnt got a website, im creating one as both my assignment and for the club to use as a HQ. I'm trying to create an animation with Gimp. All I'm trying to do is a shooting star so that a white line moves across the page. I drew a star on one layer and then created more layers with the same image but moving across, so that a separate image is on each layer. I want it so that it plays with each image showing separate, but when I went to preview the animation it actually shows every layer one after the other like I want, but the previous image doesn't disappear so that it looks like one line. How can I make each image appear one at a time, instead of showing it so that the previous image doesn't disappear? I hope that makes sense. I put it on this page to show…

First off, I'm NOT a graphic designer, and I'm NOT a good artist, I even managed to flunk art at school. Hi all, Having recently finished my web design and marketing site, I find myself looking at the imagery and then getting depressed. The problem is I've completely run out of ideas towards get the right creative mix for my website. Hey, Well im sure many know about Illustrators CS5 Live Trace. Take any image, click a few buttons and you have a fully vectorized image which you can play around with at your disposal. I was messing around with it, and I was told "yeah but thats cheating". Granted, it is as anyone can do it and it take no skill. But the question is, would use an image you have used on Live Trace and class it as your own? In my opinion, taking a random image from a website that you dont own and using LT on it, then classing it as your own IS cheating. I'm making an interactive portfolio for my web/print design and I was looking to add some captions and short descriptions to the artwork etc, I can get the normal ID captions to show up on the images but I was looking for something triggered when you mouse over the image, and have the info pop up either under the image or on the cursor.If any one has any ideas please let me know.

Good evening. A client has requested a logo to be sent in jpeg as well as png. The logo is just a combination of text, quick flyout shapes and colour. When saving as a jpeg, what is the best way to save it to give the highest image quality? I have been saving all jpegs at a jpeg quality of 65, but not sure what KB I should choose, and should it be saved as a transparent colour and should I set a transparency value to pallet entry? I have done some web design in the past with fake horse games, but now I'm wanting to go real time with my websites. Previously I was using a type of Microsoft Picture Editor to do my graphics but now its no longer available to me and I was looking for something a bit more proffesional. Taking only certain parts of pictures was extremely difficult, time consuming and the result was not what I was looking for. So far I've heard that Photoshop is about the best, but I would love some feedback from more experienced webdesigners with knowledge of the current Image Editing Software.

Oh well I'm going to take a shot over 2 months to advertise in the bus for 1 month. I know the cost and it's quite cheap and I think it will be a good start to lure peoples to mine website. Hi Guys, I have been asked by my company to design a mascot / character. I have never done anything like it before and was wondering if anyone could point me to any tutorials or some articles that they know about. Hello all, I've designed a logog for my client, It's my first job, and am wondering what is the best format with which to send the logo image I have designed. I created the image in my webplusx4 web editor, and am thinking of sending it as a jpeg as this is how she has requested it to be sent. Is this a good way to send the logo? She will be using the logo on paperwork and cards etc as well as the website I designed for her. Any advice you can give is very much appreciated. Many thanks!

Heyy Just wondering if someone could help me out a little. I wanted to make a cube logo, but I don't how I would make a decent cube and I can't find any good ones on Google either. I am wanting a cube similar to this, but more rotated to the left with the front vertical line in the center, also with a transparent background. For start, don´t expect me being a pro and I´m still learning a lot in de photoshop mostly thanks to the layout tutorials. Anyway I have mine new Avatar for on the Horse forum and a possible new logo for mine own website. Saving up some cash for a tablet so I can draw some logo´s out. I have a hard time of drawing things with a computer mouse. But what you guys think of these 2 logo´s? As you can memorize mine old one which wasn't a good one, I hope you can then compare it. Thanks.
