  1. very nice, good work. the images in the video seem to be quite low quality unless thats just my computer!
  2. its good, i would say you need to space the navigation out a little more, the nav almost reads as a sentence. not too keen on the logo, think you could do more with it. need a little more info such as a short blurb/mission statement the front page so the user knows what this website is intended for. Perhaps a JQuery slider too to sell special offers/key items etc?
  3. thats a nice web site. good, clean and well spaced out layout. the font may be a little small and faint for older users perhaps and could do with a little more spacing. also i think you could do more with the scrolling images near the top, add some more visual appeal and really sell the items on display to your customers.
  4. its not bad but maybe: more line spacing within the text and shorter paragraphs. im not keen on the first banner, it looks very squashed and too condensed otherwise i think it's fine for the purpose, maybe needs a little more colour? i know the subject of the website doesn't encourage visual appeal but i still feel the colour scheme is a little too bland.
  5. become a guru with HTML and CSS first. That's the basis of pretty much everything on the web. Don't try to learn so many languages its impossible! Then if you want to go down the web developer route, I would recommend PHP. Learning what makes good design and researching web usability is also vital if you are more interested in the design side of things!
  6. try site5.com- very reliable, cheap and excellent customer service. Just dont use 1and1, had so many problems with them in the past!
  7. if its not for profit you could ask for small donations maybe? Does the society meet up in real life? perhaps some money could be generated from meetings?
  8. had a fair few web hosts myself, had a lot of issues with godaddy and particularly 1and1. Im using site5 now, its good value and the customer service is surprisingly good- had a few problems with hosting early on and they did a great job fixing.
  9. no nd to warrie abt splng m8!
  10. its ok but the design is very dated, it does look too much like its been created entirely with one of those tacky web-based WYSIWYG editors. Hence the code is poor. The logo just doesnt fit in with the design. however i think it has potential, theres a good layout, its a nice enough idea, i like the pin up features too. just needs a lot of work!

  13. nice design, that frame kinda ruins the site a bit and the code isnt great!
  14. anything that doesnt say 'mac' on it
  15. nice design, im a bit confused about the guy with the hammer, is he trying to smash facebook?? Also not sure if the large question mark next to 'why' balances with the what and how symbols?
  16. decent enough layout, but the design does feel a little bland and uninspiring to me. The logo feels old fashioned too.
  17. if the image is a beast its worth putting it through this- smush*it dot com without the star lol
