  1. Oh sorry, I want to know which header is best to match the footer and the color pallete and which one generally looks best
  2. This is my color pallette vermilion-air.org/colors.png This is header 1 vermilion-air.org/images/header.gif This is header 2 vermilion-air.org/images/header_backup2.gif This is header 3 vermilion-air.org/images/header_backup.gif This is my footer vermilion-air.org/images/footer.gif Which one?
  3. Here are my color selections
  4. I gave Kruler a try and it gave me some great color pallete ideas. Its nice that I can look up "enviro" and get 20 or so ideas. I looked up CSS galleries and got quite a few good ideas. I will be changing the color and adding some columns in hopefully tonight.
  5. I appreciate all the feedback it gave me a lot of ideas and things to focus on. Below I will reply to each one I have questions about. When I first posted the link it was actually a different design which was almost completely done but I ended up redesigning it that day. I do have some padding and headers on the About page now if you want to take a look at that. Your right with the colors, I need to change them but I am no good at picking colors and would love some feedback on color schemes. As well, any suggestions on the hover would be appreciatd. Do you mean white space as in the color white on the page somewhere, or actually space between elements. And the column should it be in the 1000px wide "content" area under the header and nav bar or on the empty space along side the content area? Your right the grey is counterproductive, it reminds me of pollution and not clean crisp air. And honestly I have no idea what colors I should pick, I would love some suggestions. As well I like your idea of photography, I know a photographer in the area and maybe I can get some local pictures or find some nice stock photos. Thanks for the advice, I want to be good at coding and designing but more so designing. Up until last week I had no idea what a style sheet was and was relying on ugly tables and WYSISWYG editors to get what I wanted. But I have landed into the world of CSS and I am slowly working on things by trial and error. If you know of any design rescources I would love to look over them. Creativity is a bit of a weak point for me. Thank you! I had no idea what colors would go well together and I have absoutely no problems changing the color scheme. I want to make this page inviting and a resource for people to use not only for the area its intended but give people ideas on a global basis. I know thats a big goal but I am going to strive to reach something big. As well, my "What can you do area" I would love advice on how to set it up, and how to have a secondary navigation system in it. Thanks so much!
  6. Hey, this is my first real attempt at a "big time" website. I have learned alot about PHP and CSS in the past few weeks and now I am looking for feedback. I am at a dead end and I am running out of inspiration. The site can be viewed at http://vermilion-air.org
