Do you use illustrator at all? if so much better to draw your own..

I use IIlustrator but it would take a lot of time to create a full pack of icons. Don't know about others but I do not like to reinvent the wheel every time.

Maybe BUT i find i don't always like the icons i'm presented with - just a suggestion.

Getting premium resources for free?

 

That already sounds unfair. I mean, the authors have worked hard for their products (icons and other stuff) and

someone just gets them for free, doesn't sound so good.

Thus why I said to "draw" his own..

Yep. But surprisingly SVG icons are becoming more and more popular with each passing year.

 

 

Premium for free? I don't think so, but you can get usually as creative commons license.

I also use iconfinder.com for both free and premium/paid icons, the free icons are often very good. They also offer the ability to pay monthly for unlimited premium icons if you're using a lot.
