Why mobile version first in responsive design?
That's more likely i'd agree with. There are definitely some issues because every design is different and may require different coding (like you mentioned 'nav'). Correct me if i'm wrong. I think the desktop version is harder as compared to mobile ones because there's a lot going with floats, relative/absolute positions and margins, paddings etc. Once I have the desktop version ready, then it's only a matter of clearing floats and minor adjustments. And that seem easier to me.

Why mobile version first in responsive design?
Hi all, Firstly bear with me as my knowledge in web design is very limited (at the moment). I'm going through some tutorials regarding responsive web design. And all of them start their coding in mobile version followed by the tablet and desktop versions. I'm wondering why is this. I know there might be a very logical answer but what is it?

My First Single Page Website
Now it looks a lot better. I'm on a 1920px wide screen, so maybe that was the problem.

Hello!
Welcome dear. You are in the right place but for free (no reasonable price here actually). You just need to ask more questions and practice even more. I myself am a newbie here but believe me, this place is so full of knowledge. You only need to ask the right questions.

My First Single Page Website
Very nice animation effects. You may reduce the size of pre-loader. And also the paragraph text throughout the site seems bit larger and you can always use something else than 'arial'. Also when clicking the offices addresses (Cardiff Chester LLandudno London), the top images move. I think you've aligned everything from the bottom. Overall, it's a beautiful design.

Review my site please
Your Weight converter isn't working properly. I agree very much. Your homepage is way too empty and you can place all your converters there. You current site is functional enough but lack the 'looks' You need to improve your UI elements. You can get some meaningful resources at http://365psd.com/ (yes, they are free)

Where to download premium fonts and icons for free [Legit]
Getting premium resources for free? That already sounds unfair. I mean, the authors have worked hard for their products (icons and other stuff) and someone just gets them for free, doesn't sound so good.

My latest design needs review
Text on the main hero image (home page and 'O blagovni...') is difficult to read. And it's bit harder to locate the logo of the company (should stand-out more). Bold headers might attract more (talking about the word 'zlahka' here). Parallax on homepage is nice. Products page is nice. You can improve the main image on homepage by, maybe adding one of the products or something. Apart from header text, i like the overall typo. Overall, nice design.

What's missing in this website? Can you help me figure it out ?
Minimal look is appealing. These are many but minor things that, in my opinion would add more visibility and details to your great work. You can reduce the size of logos in 'affiliation' section and align them (also the 'clients' section). Reduce the line-height of paragraph texts. I like the parallax style. You can always add extra vertical padding/margins. 'Connect with us' background color makes the text harder to read. And the video sextion needs some elaboration. Animated icons in 'what we do' section are superb, just give them some more space. I hope it helped

Specialists for collaboration work
I haven't been around this site for long but have found some really co-operative fellows with some mighty development skills. Purpose of this post is more of a joint venture between designers and developers. Looking for a community of experts in web graphics, front-end designers and developers (hope i'm using the right terms here). Would like to know if you are available for freelance work on partnership basis (or other terms). Hoping to engage in a long-term work relation with specialists in web technologies like bootstrap, wopdrpress, admin templates etc. to work on platfroms like themeforest and other marketplaces. If interested, kindly share your best works or a link to your portfolio. Here's a link to some of my works: https://www.behance.net/na-kash P.S. Share your options and suggestions as well.

My new project after big gap - Couplelizer
T-shirt design is quite colorful and glamorous, which doesn't match your original product. I think you should play with flat vectors (like the ones you;ve used in video and as icons) along with your logo 'couplelizer'. Your site seems quite functional but it lacks an attractive interface (main page). You can always improve the typography and add some spacing to all the text fields.

Feedback on photographer portfolio
Paul already pointed out the typo issue. I'd go with a font similar to the logo 'klemen humar' font style. I didn't like the main hero image when you have all images down with the lightbox like thing. I like the overall color combination throughout the page. Should give more vertical margins to 'photography, cinematography and contact' sections. And mainly, as this is a single-page site, i don't see anything or any information about the company/client. You should probably ask for some information in 'about' section by the client.

a newbie looking to get advanced
Now that helped a lot. Am working on HTML and CSS. My designing background makes understanding the design concept of CSS easy but as you've mentioned earlier, it does get harder getting to cascading and specificity etc. Then comes the responsiveness and pre-processors and then javascript/jQuery. I appreciate your help for pointing out the positives regarding my current field of expertise. But it seems a long road still.

Feedback please!

a newbie looking to get advanced
I have done a webpage so i'm fine with the basics of HTML and CSS along with jQuery (very little). Although, im always confused with the term 'front-end developer'. Does it include jQuery and PHP/MySQL etc.? And what does the package 'developer' consists of ? Does 'Dreamweaver CC' fit in ? I'm actually looking for 'designer + coder'. Bear with me 'coz i'm just a learner

Template to be released on Themeforest need advice
As Andy suggested the cursor points. You themes is pretty basic. Also everything is stacked at top left corner. You logo, text, buttons and caption, all are lined up to the left of screen. I've gone through themeforest, it has got strict standards. Hope this gets approved.

Freelance designer, check portfolio :)
You've got a nice portfolio there but in my opinion, you need to work more on the presentation stuff. I myslef use behance a lot and have gone through lots of professional designers.. Your portfolio are way too short. They should be 3-4 page scrolling down. I don't know if i'm allowed to post links here but here are some good examples that stand out of the crowd: https://www.behance.net/gallery/15200925/Codeanywhere-App https://www.behance.net/gallery/14984571/Medical-App (these are NOT the links to my jobs) You may use devices and 3D isometric actions. These are very IN nowadays. Ofcoarse, you can buy or even find free 3D/devices mockups. I'm stating all this because the first thing that grabbed my attention is the ratio of your 'project views' and 'no. of appreciations'. I hope, by just changing the presentation, you can get more appreciations. Hope this helps.
