  1. Yep. But surprisingly SVG icons are becoming more and more popular with each passing year. Premium for free? I don't think so, but you can get usually as creative commons license. I'm using https://www.iconfinder.com/
  2. Regarding the front-end look: - reduce the logo - get rid of the top slider - i am not sure you need a reviews for products like furniture - think about implementing a technique known as infinite scroll or a "load more" type button for pagination. this simple solution enables the user to scroll up and down the list, while having a recognizable point to return to.
  3. I truly recommend prestashop. It's easy to edit the language files and the community forum is pretty alive with discussions and expert advice, so no worries if you'll have some issues with the implementation to bilingual website. Just wonder why they don't have some chat for customers so they can immediately talk with retailers. Magento is a great choice too, but as you mentioned it's not the easiest solution. Anyway, good luck with your ecommerce business.
  4. I'm using Invision for mock-ups and it's awesome. Now you can easily integrate this with the Slack, so you get instant notifications, previews of changes, and you can click through to comment—speeding up team design review. I'm not sure they're planning to add some live chat plug-ins (like all those e-commerce chat web-apps), but if yes this'll be perfect.
  5. Hey guys, my name is Andrew. I started out with web development back in 99, back when Internet Explorer had like 90% market share My main interests (with regards to webdev) are front-end development, user experience design, basically anything coding-related. I'm glad to be here and looking forward to learning a lot in this forum and adding some of my own experiences where I can. Hope to see you all around, have a great day.
