Hello I had an idea of creating a multi vendor store using Magento , but the cost for creating that was too high when checked with the ecommerce consultant.

Recently I found a multi vendor shopping cart platform software which seems to have all the features I required, and also their cost is not too high, Here is their website link : http://www.mercuryminds.com/products/Multi-Vendor-Platform.html

Have anyone used this software on multi vendor, Can you give your review here .

thanks in advance for your replies

Hey,

I am currently working on a large multi vendor site for a client using WordPress and Woocommerce.

I used Matt Gates multi vendor plugin which I have been adding additional functionality too and I highly rate it. Well worth the $99.

It's a very good plugin and if you have the know how easy enough to build on.

I prefer it to Woocommerce's own: http://www.woothemes.com/products/product-vendors/

Also want to include Prestashop as an ecommerce platform for multi vendor facility.
For each ecommerce platforms' there are different modules in support of providing some extra facilitites to the merchant. As a multi vendor facility for a single store, no doubt there are different different plugins/addons present for every CMS platform. The same as in prestashop too, it uses "Agile multiple sellers/vendors module" to fulfil its merchant's requirements for supporting multiple vendors at the same time. For more information, you can go through the url here: http://goo.gl/V6MPDZ.

Never heard of them, they don't publish prices so that makes me wary :)

Have you see http://www.cs-cart.com/multivendor.html - wonder how that compares on price.

Hi,

They are pretty good. One of my client is using the same.

Here you go with their pricing : http://multivendorz.mercuryminds.com/plansandpricing.html

Thanks
