For a moment, you may be right. But still I guess this type of idea would go well for small and mid sized businesses focusing on a small or particular group of target customers with special needs. And yes, displaying products in 3D is a good idea…will definitely give it a try!

Maybe it could pick up in the near future… And big fishes may be currently researching about further possibilities of innovative ideas like this… From an ordinary shopper’s point of view, people might not be interested in walking around a 3D store. But what about physically handicapped people and senior citizens, who have difficulty in travelling all the way to a physical store? And even overseas people who want to shop ignoring national boundaries…but at the same time, would like to have a realistic experience…I think this idea will greatly benefit such people. What’s your opinion about it? Yes, this concept might not look good for an average shopper…but definitely worth for senior citizens and other special cases as I’ve told above…which is not a rarity!

With all due respect, I would like to let you know that I just initiated the thread to get my doubts clarified regards new 3D site as i mentioned earlier. After using the software, I personally found it quite useful for my business. I suggest that you too give it a try, before jumping into conclusions and passing comments…be it negative or positive. And regarding the two articles you mentioned…I didn’t find anything worth laughing in them. And they were quite explanatory in serving their purpose. But of course, whatever you mentioned in your previous comments about MotionCart software, the two related articles and the software’s website could be your personal views (not sure, based on what you formed those opinions)…and I respect your rights to express your views. No offence meant!

Thanks for your suggestion. Even i had too many questions in my mind when i initiated this project but had a hope. Because there was a serious conversation happened when people start seeing online 2D ecommerce websites, then we just used to it and feels better. Hope 3D do have such welcome in near future. And it do have more features which would be a advantage for seller and shopper, example- customized offers, one shopper can chat with other shopper and they can discuss about the product etc... These things gave me a hope that it would gain a lot within a year. And i take up all your suggestions and it helps me a lot. Thanks

Hi all, I do have a plan to create a 3D virtual shopping website, so i'm converting my 2D ecommerce website to 3D virtual shopping website. Already customization is going in my website, my question is " what are all the new to be added in 3D shopping site both design wise and functionalities wise ?" Bcz its easier to change things in earlier stage. Do anyone have idea on this ?
