Firefox, IE sucks when using CSS

Google Chrome, optimised, no fuss, browsing. However, I always have Opera, Netscape and Firefox installed to cross browse when developing.

I've went from IE to Firefox to Safari to Opera to Chrome and Chrome is by far the best browser.

Mozilla Firefox as for me is the most comfortable and featured

Firefox for work (developer plug-ins), Chrome for casual use (speed and usability).

According to me, firefox is the best.

I second this!

I use Lunascape 6 to see how my web sites look, but for plain browsing it has to be Chrome.

Wow, this is indeed stunning evidence that IE8 is the best browser...ever.

Personally, I use Chrome and Firefox. Both me and like I never had any problems with them.Some time ago I used and Opera, but I didn't like it.

Its my own personal opinion that IE is best

Chrome for now. But sometimes want back to FF

When designing/developing I use firefox mainly because it has lost of really useful plugins which help speed up my process. When I'm just browsing around I like to move over to Safari, I can't really figure out any other reason than the 'Top Sites' feature which safari uses. I only browse a few websites in the evening when I'm not at work so I have all my sites already there with a nice pretty thumbnail, ready for me to dive deep into the world of social networking!

I personnely have chrome as my favourite because of its simple interface and security.

But Firefox and opera are behind.

Im currently using Firefox 4 Beta.. Seems to the best i have come accross! dont like google chrome whats so ever. I.E is slow as hell.. have not used safari. I heard google chrome is the fastest now but for good performance go for Firefox

+1 for this but slowly lately I've been turning to solely Chrome.

 

 

 

I used to use firefox but it seemed to have a virus :/ I now use google chrome but test in IE as well. I did use safari but it seemed to crash a lot.

Firefox mainly, but I find it's not as stable as it should be sometimes. Ocassionally when I close it and open it again it tells me that the "Firefox process is already running" and I have to ctrl-alt-del and stop the process. Also it crashes occasionally. Perhaps a prob with my machine or it's corrupted somehow. Brilliant essential web dev tools.

 

Although it doesn't crash as much as IE8 which just seems to randomly hang and crash and invite you to "Send an error report to Microsoft". Microsoft are lucky that everyone doesn't do this otherwise their servers would come to a halt with the traffic . IE has web dev tools but I find compared to Firefox they're not as intuitive.

 

Safari - Hmmm I don't like the interface. Even though it has all the bells and whistles.

 

Chrome - Quite good. I also notice that Chrome acts a lot like Safari render-wise. Anyone else find that?

 

I think Opera is quite nice - underrated. Not sure how up to date it is with the other ones and to be honest I don't really use it, but it's a very pleasant browser to use. A good effort.

 

Anyway I'll be unoriginal and go with FF even though it could be more stable.

I am using Google Chrome....it's very fast,the themes,the pages loading,default java and flash support features all are fine,downloading and uploading is fast.It has download manager to manage the downloads,So downloading is fast....i am using it from 2 years.my connection upload and downloads are fast using this browser.

Chrome, it's a faster lighter version of Firefox.

Chrome all day every day. So much more screen space than anything else. If i'm debugging though, I use firefox most of the time, I'm not a fan of Chrome's firebug

Always used Firefox until it started crashing regularly and just being a nightmare. So I tried out Google Chrome and have been hooked since!

 

It's so clean, minimal and fast - worth a try if you haven't already.

For me each browser that supports web standards is a good one. Personally, I use Firefox, but I like the minimalism used in Chrome.

I would bet for Chrome for its speed and lightness. I love angry birds

Problem: some sites do not open in chrome in first attempt.

 

Firefox is best for HTML coders because of those addons.

I would not recommend safari.

IE would be the last browser I would prefer to use

surely if you get the code right then you don't need those add-ons?

I always use Chrome for my day to day web browsing due to it's simple interface. For development however, it has to be Firefox every time mainly because of Firebug.

On a web design forum I'm glad I see lots of Firefox. I cannot see why you would need to use another browser for anything design related with Firefox. Apart from browser testing I ALWAYS use Firefox.

IE 8 is popular and more css scripts work on 8 then they do on IE 9 currently *stable*

Chrome has it for me. Always use it. I liked the look of Safari but it kept crashing then I had a few problems with Firefox and Chrome has been my favourite since trying it out
