I do agree Firefox would be first but I prefer chrome for its speeds and simplistic design.

Welcome, I'm the opposite to you, I'm good at HTML and CSS but I need some improvement on my PHP.

When you say don't make websites with Dreamweaver, Do you mean don't use it as a WYSIWIG editor or don't use it as the code editor.

I like the style you have done, with black and white.

Hello, Whenever I start a project I usually draw a basic layout of where the content,grab a suitable colour scheme and get into development, And for the time being its be going well. But now I've been getting comments saying that my designs are too basic and boring. So I started designing in Gimp and creating PSDs and then slicing the image. Is this the best way to design and develop a project? Design a PSD then slice parts to develop the website. And does anyone know good blogs/tuts to help people become better with designing. I've got enough experience with coding html/css so the development side of things are good. Its just the Design.

Hello, thought out the years of html/css experience,I've designed many websites but ended up giving up on them because of the effort and time that had to be put into them. But recently I've started and finished the design for my personnel website and actually got it running up on a server. I've used php for Server side include. I am the youngest here, 15 in march. I've been doing Web Design/development since about 11, I was interested in the web so I read a book about html coding and got hooked up ever since.

I agree with the others in saying that you should drop the background, but instead replace it with a light colour (maybe a light blue).

Hello, I'm WMichael and I class myself as a beginner web designer, I learned Html and CSS a few years back, but really got interested in Web design about this time.
