July 21, 201115 yr Some interesting ideas in there and some particulary eyeball jarring efforts though did like the the bookshelf example but fear creating it for a client would be a bit trickier in practice. Overall it left me with a warm fuzzy feeling for Comic Sans.
July 21, 201115 yr WOW! Typogami, great idea! Typogami was one that struck a chord with me too. About 90% of those examples are fairly useless commercially but they act as a good demonstration of a designers abilities. Edited July 21, 201115 yr by DesignerX
July 21, 201115 yr I'm kind of hesitant to call it Typography. I dunno, it just seems more like art that happens look like letters rather than something anybody might use to convey information.

There were some nice ones in there but the majority of them were almost unreadable and we live in a lazy world with lazy people who are too lazy to stare at the same image for over 5 seconds (unless it's female and it's naked); or at least this is usually the case.

August 2, 201115 yr Wow @ the work. Woe @ the people saying it's rubbish. Typography is an art form, most, if not all the work on that page is art. Obviously you wouldn't use it as the standard font on a website. Some of it wouldn't look out of place on a poster or the sort though. I especially love the geometric wire kind of thing, remember I used to love drawing them in school. Great share! ~ evu.
