  1. I did 72 in 2012, about the same in 2013
  2. Thanks for the heads up on Stripe I think I will have the best of both worlds and implement both. Feedback I got was a high number of users were keen to see paypal but an extra option can't hurt Quite how I implement IPN into my specific scenario I do not know though! Time to get reading.
  3. dddddddddddddddddddd
  4. Cheers guys Feedback appreciated
  5. Well this forum is pretty dead now...
  6. Why not just add blogging to the site you have? sounds like it does everything you want it too...
  7. Very little between them get what ever your friends play on If you have no friends I've got both, I always pick the xbox. I find its just nicer to use. PSN has not been updated in over 7 years, xbox live and the dashboard is really nice but if you can wait next year is the release of the next xbox if you believe what people are writing may be worth hanging on
  8. It's been translated by native speakers not G translate, I had no idea matt did a video on this thank you
  9. Hello, I'm about to launch a site that will have 5 language versions (English, French, Spanish, German and Russian) The site content itself is identical, its just been translated... Now me myself don't think we will be hit with duplicate content, the sites will be hosted in the target country with different country specific TLD's. Am I right in thinking we will not be penalised for duplicate content? Thanks Ste
  10. I had sites punished lately by penguin that had completely whitehat work behind it. Google isn't always 100% perfect. No one is safe.
  11. Normal SEO. I think rather than get 'hit' they are just treated the same as normal non match domains. Thats what my experiments and monitoring have shown.
  12. Set the video to unlisted - however these can still come up in google searches if they ever are made public and will not be removed if you make it unlisted again later on. They will not appear on YouTube searches though or on your channel.
  13. I went freelance January 2010 after 8 months of playing around. It was part time, even now I am only just 'seriously' getting into it and its been very much part time up to now. If you are not confident enough to put yourself in front of people it is not for you, you have to push and push. You can be the best designer around for miles, have the best coding skills and can deliver all this for less than anyone else but if you cannot put yourself in front of people you will not get anywhere. I think more people fail there than they do because of poor skills.

I'm thinking of hiring a guy and need to get him a PC to work from while hes here. I've seen these from ebuyer and they seem like excellent value. I know there is no OS. I have that covered along with monitors and stuff. http://www.ebuyer.com/389624-zoostorm-desktop-pc-7873-1067 Does anyone have any experience with them?
  15. From what I have seen it's all about diversity as a whole, not branded terms vs keywords. The least effected sites I have seen have a good percentage of generic but low volume anchor text such as "click here", "here","source" and so on.
  16. Out of interest what is the punishment?

  19. Micronesia... I have just started jogging though - I am hoping to be a Tonga or Croatia pretty soon... It doesn't take in my big legs from sports as a teen... For some reason the muscle stayed.
  20. I'm currently building a WP plugin I plan on releasing for free, I will also be releasing it to other CMS's when its done. but as part of that I will be asking for a link in the footer which I will add with the pluggin. This will be a TOS of using the pluggin. but to go further I want to host the footer text on my own web space so I can go in and 'edit' the text. Something like this <?php include 'http://www.link-to.com/file.html';?> This will then allow me to change the footer text or remove it completely if I feel like it in the future. This is what I want out of this, they get a great pluggin and I get this. Lets not get into the morals of this, if people don't like it I am not making them use it. It will be obvious and nothing will be hidden or devious. BUT problem with this is most hosts see including external files this way as a security problem and rightly so. So is there a way round this? I want ultimate and exact control over this line in the footer and hosting the text in my own webspace is the perfect answer to this in my head.. but with PHP this is a problem (out of 5 hosting providers I tried it on 4 did not work :/) I need another option... I've been up all night and my heads a little mashed, the answer could be easy as hell but I can't see it right now :/ Any help would be much appreciated.
  21. you need to find out how the person put it there first
  22. its possible you have been hacked. Joomla is not hard to get into if you do not keep it upto date. I have heard of hackers changing content if the user comes from google vs direct traffic to stay hidden. I would look at that first.
  23. I have SEO Moz The thing is worth every single penny. Best £60 a month you can spend for SEO. I love the thing. There is a 30 day free trial, go try it. you will see what I mean.
