Lewwy got a reaction from Kalo in Coding a html newsletterIn my opinion, you shouldn't *really* be worrying about how this email template looks in browsers. You need to make sure it looks alright at each stage in email clients.
Here is a list from Campaign Monitor of the most popular email clients (as of September 2012).
According to that, you need to be worrying about iOS Mail, Outlook and Hotmail (I'd need to check, but I think think Hotmail interprets the code, rather than the browser, so what you see in your Hotmail inbox might look different to what you see if you just go to the file on Firefox.)

Lewwy got a reaction from NOCK in PHP For loop and random resultsYour $num variable is being set outside of the loop, and therefore will always be the same. It need to change in each iteration of the loop, so just put that variable inside.
for ($i = 0;$i < 10;$i ++) { $num = rand(1,100); echo $num."<br />"; }

Lewwy reacted to FizixRichard in How to use APIs?It's a RESTful API; so you'll need to learn how to code REST API's and use json.
ETA you can use PHP or their Javascript SDK.
ETA 2:
You can find their PHP integration guide here: https://github.com/j...ration-Guide.md
Not being funny but that took me 2 minutes from the link you gave, it pays to actually read the site. The reason I say this is because if you don't take the time to read the documentation you're going to make a hash of it and have problems (security, bugs etc.)

Lewwy got a reaction from webDesignerJon in Stop someone copying a websiteAre they still hot linking the images?
If so, you could copy them to a new location, swap the code on your site to look at the new ones, and replace the ones they are sourcing with messages saying they are being investigated, or have broken copyright laws, or depending on how unprofessional you are.. pictures of genetalia?

Lewwy got a reaction from Michael Robson in PayPal PaymentI think this is what you're looking for.

Need to be careful though, as your friend is technically selling an item before it's available. PayPal crack down on things like this.

Lewwy got a reaction from fleur in Where on earth do I start with Wordpress? While he has a perfectly valid point, I offer all of my clients WordPress as a CMS system, and I think it's vital that you learn how to make a WordPress website look like anything but a WordPress website.
This series helped me massively - http://css-tricks.co...ries-downloads/
Also, download a copy of the Starkers Theme, it's a naked theme with all design stripped out, so you can start from scratch without being hindered by overcomplicated templates and design elements.

The first thing you should do, if you're going to offer design to other people, is design your own site.

Lewwy got a reaction from Eoin in Woah there! Heavy spam fest from http://nohandsseo.com//head in no hands
Speaking of spam. I've been getting frequent emails through from a Chinese guy offering various photo editing services.
The first time I politely asked him not to email me again.
The second time I RAISED MY VOICE.
The third time I accepted his offer, and asked him to give me an example of his work, but sending the most ridiculous photo I could find in my photo library and have him cut it out.
Thanks 'Rick', you did a smashing job!

Lewwy got a reaction from nuksies in Kids Clothing Store (almost finished so opinions please)He's lucky people aren't being this blunt in the thread where he asked for critique.
I like the top, simple and clean. The slider could use quite a thick border in white, or a very light green. Even if that means making the actual image smaller.
I also feel the 3 featured blocks of text should be brought inline with the footer *text*, at the moment, the aprons block sticks out and feels wrong on my eyeballs.
I also feel there isn't much colour variation, all the text is black, nothing is emphasized.
Hope this helps.
