Personally, I'd hold out for payment before handing over any details, I would also have had a contract in place too. If you are going to hand over the passwords, remove the css files from the current server and host them privately (obviously amend the links to the files on the current websites). This way if she doesn't play ball and you no longer have access to the server you can remove the css files and smile as the sites suddenly look like sh*t. **TIP** display:none; is your friend!!

Run a mile - seriously.

Simply create new banners in Photoshop, Fireworks etc, save them in a folder on your desktop, save them as banner.jpg & banner1.jpg. Then using a ftp program such as Filezilla, connect to the server, find the images folder on the server, find the image folder you saved on your desktop, upload them to overwrite the existing ones. Job's a good 'un!!

I'd say go to appearance, edit css. Find the #featured tag and add your image as a background so it'll look something like this... #featured background: #fff url ('path/toyour/image.jpg') top center no-repeat; Obviously change the path to your image to match the location of your uploaded image file.

Not sure that I understand, you want it to look like the examples? Just upload your favourite image and use it as a background to the #featured tag in your css.

Also use a css reset.
