  2. Yes, I woudl agree it is a lot about consistency, but I would also add another point which is about not communicating with yoru fans. There are lots of Facebook pages, where page fans are asking lots of questions and they simply do not get an answer> I would say this is a critical mistake as it shows how much you don't care and do not appreciate people who are liking your page.
  3. Oh yes, it's totally possible. The easiest way is probably to set a Facebook likes campaign. You'll have to set a budget and create some catchy banners - they will be showed to yoru targeted audiences and believe me this incerases the number of your like rapidly.
  4. Yes, usually we have some difficulties about that. As we talk, we simply expalin what we want and how we imagine everything to be. However, the practise shows that it is probbaly impossible to get the desired result and it ussually needs some fixing before the final product. Nice survey by the way
  5. I think you should do your presentation in case there will not be internet connection, by doing this you will also have deeper insignts, because it will require thiking on what to say about each of the parts. However if the internet connection will be possible - do not use your slides, cous as the colleague said you will be able to show no functionality which is a really important factor. Or.. you can kindly ask if you will be able to use Internet connection and the issue will be solved.
  6. Yes, I agree with the colleagues that the first thing is to learn coding. And these days, one coding language is not enough anymore and will not amaze any employer, that's why developer profession becomes very hard, it's impossible to work without seeking all of the constantly chaching technologies and tech requirements.
  7. Well you can try creating videos about the same things you are writing. Just it is pretty difficult to suggest you when we don't really know what kind of content you are providing your visitors with. If it's some general news - you can simply visualise them, if it contains of tutorials - it's even better because you can interactively show it and etc. I guess you have my point already that it depends on yoru content. And yes, Youtube might be pretty useful when it is marketed good. If you are not really going to work on it, so as to only have a channel - it's not worth creating it.
  8. Well firstly you need to understand the main idea of it. If people are going to facebook to chat with their friends and share the latest news, Pinterest is even more for visual entertainment. If you relaly want to grab the attention of Pinterest users - you need to be good at providing high quality images that are of course related to what you are doing. That's the first thing that people will look at using this social media platform.
  9. Not only keywords, can you imagine how it would look? I bet like a bot text. My practise shows that when writing a description, since they are pretty short - it is enough to insert at least one keyword, and that's it.
  10. The main goal of using social media for my business is to gain visibility and credibility, since I've tried and already found out that conversions and traffic to my website are not coming from Facebook effectively. However, I want my customers find me so that they can contact or discuss about the service with others. I also always share all the news on social media and I am sure it reaches more people than posts on my blog.
  11. Many are now considering creative infographics - with some moving elelments. however, It is pretty hard to evaluate how much they are effective as designers rather choose certaing static ones as they do not take as much time.
  12. I would choose Joomla rather than Drupal for a very simple reason - it is easier to use and the interface is cleaner. Of coures, if you've asked about the third option - I would always choose WordPress over any other CMS.
  13. Some classic music, usually with no words at all, just the sound so that it wouldn't distract me.
  14. Totally WordPress. Its easy interface and usage as well as ability to install various SEO related plugins simplifies the whole SEO process. I am personally using SEO by Yoast and whne writing any post it requires create a description for it, choose the keywords I want to target.
  15. Well, we are always sharing all the news we have at our company and let our fans know them and talk about them, say their opinion and etc. Without that, we also use Facebook advertising campaigns for different purposes - page likes, conversions, product ads and etc. However, my observation is that not each of this company is useful and you might only spend money on it without getting any tangible profit. So it is important to try from a small step - firstly do not invest huge amounts, try the campaigns and see what's most useful for your businesses.
  16. Would totally use WordPress not only because its interface is much easier, but also because it gives way much more opportunities and design options. Also, you should notice that mainly they are created for different pourposes - WordPress is mostly used for creating blogging platforms, individual sites and etc., while Joomla is a good choice for creating forums, community sites, newsroams and etc. Also, the whole core system of Joomla is pretty difficult to use, so if you are not highly tech - working with WordPress will totally save up your time.
