Which is best
Have a look at www.laptops-for-sale.co.uk. They only sell laptops and netbooks and have a fairly large range. Pretty competitive it seems too.

"Databases within website design" module with Open University...
10 years is so far out of date I would doubt there would be any value in reading them at all. That's the most ridiculous thing I ever heard. 10 years ago I was using Visual Basic 4 and if you compare that to .NET you will see how fast things change in the world of programming.

What do i need to learn?
Yeah - that looks pretty good. Not much in the way of specifics so its difficult to tell whether they will use PHP or .NET and MySQL or SQL Server. But if you learn one you'll pick up the other quite quick. Here's a good site if you wanna get a head start. http://www.w3schools.com/default.asp

What do i need to learn?
Start by making sure you know HTML pretty well. Then learn how to use PHP to produce the HTML you need and MySQL to store the data associated with the website. Be patient, it will take some time especially if you have never learned a programming language before.

Adwords Geographic Targeting Faulty?
I've not had any problem with geographic targeting. Generally those ads with narrow geo targeting produce a very low impression rate because most of the time the ip address can't always indicate the location of the user. So the opposite problem to you. Good luck with contacting Google.

search text in page
You could add a google search. That's quick and easy enough.

Controlling Click Area
You need to split the image up and have one part of it with a hyperlink and the others without.

Which is the best SEO tool?
Statistics mean nothing unless they are interpreted correctly and what do you need to do that, yep you guessed it, a brain.

What's your single best SEO tip?
My top tip. Think for yourself and don't just accept what people tell you is always correct. It often isn't.
-
What are the chances?
Nothing is impossible but if something was then this would be it. "low cost web design" is achievable. I got my site to No1 on Google for "low cost it support" in about 6 months.

Page Rank
Don't obsess about page rank though. It, in itself, does not generate traffic. Good for bragging rights and that's about it.

Some basic seo query
Because domain age is such an important factor in overall domain strength I have always targeted less competitive keyphrases first. I would then attempt to compete for more competitive keyphrases after a year or two. Longtail keyphrases or precise regions are a good place to start. In addition you should gain highly targeted traffic like this which helps keep your bounce rate low and CTR high - other important factors especially if you use PPC like Adwords.

H1 and H2 tags
I noticed a space here: <h1 >Print & Web Design</h1> Maybe that is affecting the h1 tag.
-
H1 and H2 tags
Yep - you can use H1 & H2tags within /div or tables or whatever you want. It won't cause the bots any navigation problems. Also, if the H1/H2 tags are too big use javascript to set their attributes.

Some so called SEO companies are just idiots
It annoys me too and these types of idiots are making it much harder for good optimisers to close deals and maintain prices.

Paid Links - Do you use them?
Aah - sorry dude - my bad. Should have read your original post more carefully. I have considered this but decided there are too many issues surrounding checking the links remain in place after you've paid. Also, some of the sites I have seen selling links looked dodgy to me in terms of their link environment. I am also reluctant to pay for links when there are still nice freebie ones to be had. In addition I am scaling back my organic optimisation activities anyway for the reasons I mentioned in my last post. In short, it's not for me but that's not to say there isn't some benefit to be had by some webmasters.

Paid Links - Do you use them?
In my view most of us have no choice but to use PPC. I guess you've noticed that if you search for something on Google these days the whole top half of the page is taken up by sponsored links or local business results from Google Maps. Even if you gain number 1 spot in the organic listing you will still have probably 10 links appearing before your listing for competitive search terms. This is diminishing the value of organic SERPs positions and Google haven't done it by accident. Google now has us all by the nuts and we have no choice but to pay for clicks if your website operates within a competitive industry. I have actually scaled back my organic optimisation activities and focused almost solely on PPC and it is producing excellent results.

Need help ranking my site
Some SEO experts believe that W3C validation does have an effect on domain strength. See http://www.seomoz.org/article/search-ranking-factors#ranking-factors Item 9 in the section "On Page (Non-Keyword) Ranking Factors" shows that most optimisers surveyed believe W3C compliance has "very minimal importance" but this only has "moderate consensus" meaning that not all respondents agreed with this. So the jury is still out on that one. For me it's so easy to create compliant markup that if there is any chance at all that it may affect my SERPs positively I will do it.

how to get sites indexed more often?
Change your content regularly and place backlinks to your site on other sites that update regularly. Twitter for example. You could also add a robots.txt file and set the change frequency to daily.

Website Link price calculator tool.
I get "this service is temporarily unavailable." tbh I don't see how you can code an algorithm to work out value. Value is dependent on the what the linking site's topical nature is. Some website owners would value the link more highly than others depending on how profitable their business is. There are so many other factors too. Good bit of fun though.
-
Type of link?
Yes. Images take up more space. They are also more likely to attract the users attention so you are more likely to lose visitors to the outbound link.
-
aaaaaaarrrrrrrrhhhh! MSN
I'd focus on other things. It's no big deal if you miss out on the 5 odd percent of searches that are carried out on MSN.
-
Whats a decent amount of traffic?
I agree. Not only does non-targeted traffic reduce your conversion rates but it also increases your bounce rates and if Google can see that i.e. Analytics, they are likely to use it as part of the rating of your site pages.

Help me to choose my keyword
It's simple enough. Make sure you draw up a proper agreement that states exactly what they will do. Ensure all the objectives are measurable and within a timescale. Clearly set out in the agreement what happens if the optimisers fail to achieve what they say they will e.g. reduced fees. This is the way we run our SEO services and we find it benefits both us and the customer because the customer knows exactly what to expect and by when. This minimises any frustration, results in happy customers and plenty of referrals for us.
