I just installed SSL on one of my sites. While it's working well on the main site, it's not on the wordpress blog here. I have added this snippet in .htaccess of the blog: RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !=on RewriteRule ^ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301] But it's still not fully secure with some assets not in secure mode. I used Httpfox to check all the HTTP requests and all HTTP requests are correctly redirected to HTTPS. Now I don't know why it's still not fully secure. I thought redirecting all HTTP assets to HTTPS would be the deal in this case? Is it? If not, it seems the only option left for me is to manually change all HTTP assets (href, src, etc.) to HTTPS across all the content. Is there any easy way to achieve this for the entire WP blog? A plugin? This doesn't seem right to me as I'm afraid it would neglect one asset or two on some of the posts or pages. This really sucks.....any help would be appreciated!

I have 3 VB licenses and 1 IPB license with several addons including Nexus. Both are good board software. The one thing I hate about IPB is it doesn't have a large enough community or active support staff to get your problems solved in a prompt manner while VB has a huge community and large audience base that your problems are quickly solved by either the fans or support. Chances are solutions are already present on the web for you to find. On the other hand, IPB's aesthetic efforts and the lesser market share may contribute to your site's attractiveness because it is less seen on the web. People may be more interested in a site / forum that has a uncommonly seen design / user experience.

Not just over-priced. They are the evil. I spent over $100 at Magento Go and basically got nothing, cancelled my store 4 days after signing up. They respond to your tickts every 1 or 2 days (IF they respond AT ALL) - simply unacceptable for mission critical sites such as ecommerce stores. 3. There is NO WAY you could delete / scramble your credit card information there, EVEN after you have cancelled your plan. This makes me very very uncomfortable. After submitting 2 tickets requesting my CC to be deleted, it's been over 2 days and they DIDN'T RESPOND in any way. Do yourself a favor and AVOID them at all costs....

If you do love your site, I'm sure you would change the design / style / look of it from time to time. If it was an original design, when you take it down in favor of a new one, what would you do with the retired one? Simply throw it away? Use it for another site? Make it a template and release it free? I'd squeeze the last drop of value from it by releasing it free.

Convert design from PSD to HTML is designed and coded from scratch. Though hardly an artistic design I'd say, but it's my best and I'm trying all I can to improve it. lol~ 2 screenshots of slightly different color schemes below, which one do you like better? I'm more fond of 1.png as it's more balanced with colors and total cold tone as in 2.png might very likely turn potential customers away. What'd you say? Also, any suggestions concerning the site design would be holy appreciated! Thanks!
