  1. Welcome, Dan Very glad to have you! Have seen a few of your posts around the forum. Solid advice 🤘
  2. I'd start by considering what content clients want to see - not just what your customer wants. If you can make things more concise then you'll do better with an audience with a shorter attention span. One approach is to have each major point have its own section. You'll need to balance this with cannibalisation - the two home page sections about IBT and Hypnotherapy have their own dedicated pages, so you might want to condense those bits and have clear Learn more style buttons to take folks who want to do more reading straight to those pages. If it was me on the home page I'd go in with a shorter intro, small section on each of the techniques, the reviews and accolades and then into booking. Can you get more images as well? The flower and the line art don't really feel "on-brand".
  3. I'm not sure that there is a golden formula that will allow you to perfectly create a design that works flawlessly on an ultrawide desktop, a modest Android phone and everything inbetween There is absolutely nothing wrong with giving each device view/breakpoint the TLC it deserves If you were building websites for a living then you could figure out what works in terms of layout and spacing - and make a template from it, but for just one website you can consider going over the different views as proofing
  4. Welcome to the forum! Great to have you here Hope the rebuild goes smoothly, and that you find the answers you need from our community 😀
  5. fisicx beat me to it by saying "Change the focus of the site to meet the needs of a potential client" My two pennies: If you can get real images of you/your team working then get the stock images replaced asap The dropshadow on the logo is an interesting choice in 2024... I'd have the darker blue text on top of the teal buttons for a bit more contrast The Services button seems out of place in the What Can We Do For You? section of the home page There is some strange animation going on when scrolling through on an iPhone 12 mini. Perhaps use Elementors mobile specific settings to tweak or remove these? Logo on the messaging pop-up is a blue circle On desktop and mobile the contact form on the Contact Us page is a bit far down for my personal tastes
  6. If you are finding yourself with not enough time and too much business - then potentially! THOROUGHLY cost things like insurances, equipment, salaries, annual leave etc before you commit.

I'm guessing you fixed it because the menu is working perfectly for me (iPhone 12 mini on iOS 17.6.1) If you wouldn't mind - what was the issue?
  8. Makes you wonder what Google were thinking renaming it to GBP when £ is so widely known as GBP!
  9. Reminds me of the WH40K film where the Ultramarines went to rescue the Iron Fists and ended up fighting Chaos. John Hurt did some of the voice acting iirc?
  10. Keywords are what your target audience would be typing into search engines to find you: John Stenger Artist Artwork Painter Gallery Los Angeles Fort Lauderdale You've got a good amount of these on your 'About' page Try to include the main ones in the meta description of each page of the website I'd suggest having a think about the function of your home page too as it currently just has the top nav menu, the graphics and the sign up for newsletter bits If it was me, there would be a short intro and a photo of yourself working on your most recent painting. The intro is another chance to use those keywords PS - if this is your first website you are doing very well so far!
  11. I've used it to: Remove people who (unintentionally) photobombed otherwise perfect family photos Add monsters and robots to the background of photos Extend parts of a scene to make my composition appear better It isn't always perfect, and doesn't always seem to pay much attention to your prompts, but can be a quick fix for some things!
  12. Amazing. For the Emperor!
  13. What was it like in person?
  14. Welcome back! Crimson Fists fan here - that is dope! Great work Eager to see the rest What are you using to make it?
  15. This looks really useful! I look forward to trying it out! Thanks for letting us know about it 🤘
  16. Hello, Richard It is great to be back - and lovely to have long standing members such as yourself checking in again!
  17. I've heard about it, but haven't had chance to use it yet. Very eager to give it a shot as an Elementor user too! The menus look cool on ajo.casa
  18. Were any of you affected by the recent CrowdStrike IT outages? My father-in-law is the head of IT for a large school, and several systems went down. Didn't sound like fun. I've seen news outlets report on this as being the biggest IT outage on record. Hope that none of you were caught up in all of this! Official guidance for fixes can be found here in case you need it PS - does this remind anyone of Battlestar Galactica? Specifically Commander Adama and his reluctance to "network" the on-board computers?
  19. No prize money and it isn't "coming home" - double failure for me! 😂 Impressed that we seem to consistently get quite far in tournaments though.
  20. So much for that £70 😅
  21. Now that the dust is beginning to settle around Adobe's recent Terms of Use drama - what are your thoughts? Are you going to keep on with Adobe products because you are locked in? Will you be trying alternatives from providers like Affinity? Do you trust Adobe or other big tech companies to keep their word? I'll go first. As a regular Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Lightroom and Photoshop user I've grown comfortable with these programs over the years. I've not been thrilled about Adobe since their move to a subscription model; but I've swallowed the disappointment due to getting access to Creative Cloud at a discounted rate through work. I'm planning on swapping Premiere Pro with DaVinci Resolve, Illustrator with Designer 2 and Lightroom/Photoshop with Photo 2 from now until the end of the year. I am aware that there are features I'll be giving up in the short term as the alternatives catch up - but I'm excited to see if it the change ends up being worth it!
  22. Just saw that the guy from Inlinks put a searchable database of the leak up on his website: https://dixonjones.com/google-ranking-signals Hope that is of some use to anyone wanting to know more!
  23. I'm in a sweepstake at work and get £70 if Netherlands win.. so can't lose either way to a degree!
  24. Hadn't heard of daily.dev before - thanks for the heads up! Other than here: A few YouTubers A couple of folks on X/Twitter Web Design Weekly newsletter Google News tech category
