  1. Interesting stuff. What do you think of the results you get from GPT4? I'm finding Perplexity to be the best for finding answers and Copilot to be a decent allrounder for most tasks. Neither are great at maths though!
  2. Yeah - it only covers Web Designers, Web Devs, Digital Marketers and Copywriters. They'll have done that because it'll be of interest to their customers most likely? Did you see the bit about over-reliance on AI? I'm much more concerned about that than the folks who were interviewed! There are so many articles on Bing, for example, that are blatantly AI generated and have had no finishing touches from anything like-unto a competent human! "The UK cities most likely to be targeted in a Nuclear strike" was one of them. I fell for the clickbait and read it. Their source for the information? Gemini!! That feedback loop of scientific papers doesn't bode well. I understand it extends to other parts of AI too! Our AI guy was talking about lexicon and how the next versions of LLM will be trained on older-model-generated content. "Delve" and all the other tell-tale turns of phrase will be all over the place.
  3. Hello there! 20i have just published a study on AI use in the Web Design and Web Development industry: https://www.20i.com/ai-survey/ Some pretty interesting stats: I'm surprised to see such high levels of respondents being impressed with what they get from AI as, in my own experience, I get mediocre results at best - particularly from Gemini! What are your thoughts on this? Do you use AI tools?

I'm running a 13" 2012 MacBook Pro (with an SSD and 8GB of RAM) and it struggles with anything more demanding than Finder 😂 An M4 mini with 24GB of RAM and 10 Gigabit ethernet looks like a machine that could last for a dozen years. Have any of you picked one of these up? If so - what are your thoughts so far?
  5. At 1080p the hero image is of people's necks. Not sure what purpose that serves? Social proof/reviews - if folks are to part with cash you need more than Pascal's one, and they need to be on the home page. Are you for beginners or for people with ADHD and autism? Clearer messaging to target your audience A good amount of the one-on-one page should also be on the homepage Look up some highly recommended solo-tutors for inspiration on how they present themselves Excited to see what you do with the website 🦾
  6. Welcome, Lucas Glad to have you on board! Third Floor is pretty cool - even though I'm terrible at it!
  7. I'd reorder the home page sections around what would make it easier for a customer to order products from you Hero High Quality Printing Products section Booklets offer Consolidate the SEO sections (Best Printing Services in Croydon, London, and the UK + We are more than just a print shop in Croydon) into one being sure to keep the contact buttons on that bit Social trust bit next FAQs and the At I You Print bit next Blog Footer The Send message button and tab isn't obvious enough for me on desktop. Spot on on mobile though! On mobile the Google reviews bit overlaps the next section and looks a bit out of place The blog section on mobile could do with having the titles taken off as the thumbnails have them on already Some unusual spacing in the footer on mobile and there is some strange text positioning on mobile in the FAQs section. I'd centre align all the buttons on mobile too to make them easier to reach. Not sure where I'd put the Order Online 24/7, Upload Your Artwork and Free UK delivery bits on mobile but I don't feel it works too well so high up. Possibly above the social trust section? And some of the menu links don't work as expected: Popular Products Info Bespoke Services Eco-Friendly Prints The links either go to the homepage or go to pages that don't exist. Hope that helps!
  8. +1 to fisicx response It'll be their own internal UTM-like affair Seems odd to me at first glance that they've not get things setup so the second URL doesn't redirect
  9. Erik ten Hag is out! I can see why losing to West Ham was the final straw 😂
  10. If you want all those fancy tools then yes - but you can achieve an awful lot for no cost at all with free open-source software. You can use your former projects as templates to avoid putting in the same work again and again instead of beginning from scratch each time. This is especially useful when you've previously built your own functions to take the place of paid-plugins. The only cost that can't really be avoided is hosting, but there are tons of very inexpensive options out there. 20i sponsor this forum and many members enjoy their reseller hosting, which is pretty great if you design websites for a living. PS - my Italian sucks; hence the English response
  11. Bit basic - but I use tools like: PageSpeed Insights keycdn WebPageTest by catchpoint Pingdom by SolarWinds WordPress Hosting Benchmark tool There are a few members - and an entire movement - centred around using pure HTML or HTML & CSS only websites. Every example of these I've seen has absolutely flown!
  12. Already looking better with the screen grabs of the application! Dynamic Island is the bit at the top of the iPhone. Will attach a photo
  13. Very minor thing - but the UI on the mockup of the phone that has a notch or 'Dynamic Island" looks a little off to me Company reg number and VAT number in the footer might add another layer of credibility and trustworthiness The section after the hero feels a bit sparse on mobile. You might be able to bin that bit all together or at least reduce it? This isn't one of mine, but it might be useful to look to as inspo - https://www.redbrik.co.uk
  14. Thank you for sharing this! We have quite a few members who strive to keep their builds to pure HTML and CSS. This will be right up their alley - I can imagine this being bookmarked! The Tailwind Glassmorphism Generator and Blog Generator are both really cool!
  15. Provided you take steps to avoid cannibalisation - the separate page approach that fisicx suggested can help with SEO and bringing in organic traffic. If you've got a well optimised page for wedding videography, for example, it'll serve you better than filters & links will PS - what cameras are you using atm? I've just picked up a Sony A6700 and am really enjoying it for video, particularly in HLG
  16. Looks like the live-events side of things is recovering nicely! Which ones are you going to? 17. Try reaching out to 123-reg.co.uk I'd be very surprised if you are the first person coming to them for help with this.
  18. Welcome, Azeem Great to have you here with us!
  19. Great counsel by fisicx. Only thing I can think to add is to search the contracts and T&Cs for the bits where they outline their obligations to inform you of any changes they make. If they state they'll give you written notice in advance, just as an example, and they never did - then you might have something. Echoing fisicx again: In the likely case that the wording doesn't tie them to any obligations: your mental health will be better served by looking forwards, and not dwelling on this. I realise it is easy for me to type this, but I can promise you that you'll feel better by not allowing this horrible experience to be an open wound.
  20. If you start at a gentle pace - and simply keep it up - you'll be astonished at what you achieve in a few months time! You can do it, Gene 💪
  21. Sad to hear this has happened. Citizens Advice Bureau and, if they can't help: a Dispute Resolution solicitor.
