Hi, thank you. That sounds reasonable, but I always get confused with that image stuff. What does „optimized“ mean in this context? The website is https://psychotherapie-kukowski.de At the bottom of (nearly) every page there is a „Book me“ button along with a picture. I put a 2500 px image there, but in the page builder, I chose „medium“ (= 300 px or so) for display. Does that make sense? Maybe not. But if I resize the picture prior to upload to 300 px, I seem to lose much quality. So how to do it the right way?

Hi all, I wonder if the size of an image I choose as a featured image matters. In other words, is it ok to choose a 1024 px one, or would that be a bad idea? Should I resize the picture to 300x300 or so? Thanks.

Hi, I am building up a website locally (so I cannot give a link yet - instead I‘ll try to describe my problem). I am trying to optimize the pages for different devices. When I check the mobile view with the help of a live URL, I notice that i can move the whole content to the left and to the right, beyond the borders. In other words, the content does not seem to be „fixed in place“ - hope I can make myself understood. Maybe it‘s an element going beyond the dimensions of the screen? But how would I identify that? Or are there other possible reasons? Thanks.

Hi, I am under way of re-building the website https://psychotherapie-kukowski.de which is faulty and cannot be repaired. I did my best and showed my first results which I created with a page builder to a pro - and he critized me for having put the whole content of the page into only one container. Obviously, as I learned meanwhile, modern web design demands that you put a reasonable amount of content into a section each. Now my question: If you look at one of the pages of the above mentioned website, how many sections (apart from header and footer, of course) would you feel to be appropriate for the content. For instance, is it wise to give a CTA button its own section? Thanks a lot.

Hi, I am really new to web design and have the following very basic question. I have built my first page with WP and Bricks (locally, so it is not online). Now, in a given view (e.g., desktop view), everything I created in sections, containers, blocs, and columns looks alright. BUT when I switch to mobile view, some items are not aligned properly, or blocks overlap etc, so I do some adjustments until this looks fine, too. And then the same with mobile landscape view. Now the question: Is this procedure common and accepted as good web design practice, or would one expect that the desktop view should transform faultlessly into a mobile view without the need for any adjustments? In other words, is the way I did it ok or a terrible beginner’s way?
