  1. Such great talent for such a young age David! Kudos and welcome aboard
  2. Agree. Keep that killer article on your site and if its really good and relevant, other sites would link to it and you'll get organic links
  3. The revised design you came-up with looks more friendly, more casual. It gives me the feeling that you are easier to communicate with. The color is better than the existing site. Definitely the new version looks more interesting with a little funk to it

  10. I think what the OP meant was that he started on working to bring up his SERPs a month ago. If the site is still young, it is typically noraml for it to fluctuate on its ranking. Give it sometime until Google sees that your site is prominent enough for your keywords and you will then have stability in your SERP placement. I suggest you nuild more quality backlinks to it for now.
  11. This is also a nice resource for free tools : http://www.seochat.com/seo-tools/
  12. Nice read! I like the apt use of pictures
  13. The mid part of your heading looks a bit bare. Color seem a bit pale for me. A darker shade perhaps to contrast the white?

Build dofollow backlinks from other sites that has PR. You'll gradually get PR in time.
  15. Focusing on good content is the way to go (for organic/natural linking) but building backlinks is still a necessity especially for new sites IMO. Quality over quantity - always keep that in mind when building backlinks.
  16. SEO could be free (financially). You could start by building backlinks on relevant niche sites.
  17. Just posted this on the other thread. Some more venues for building backlinks: Directory Submissions - targeted links at high PR directories (helps in SEO) Blog and Forum participation - to high PR and frequently crawled sites (helps in SEO) Social Bookmarking (helps in SEO) Press Releases (for traffic only) Classified Ads (for traffic only) Article Marketing - submit to high PR directories, could also serve as link baits (helps in SEO) Link Exchange - with relevant and authority sites (helps in SEO) Link Baits - for organic linking (helps in SEO) Etc. etc. Hope that helps
  18. Some sources of backlinks: (some would eventually help in your SEO) Directory Submissions - targeted links at high PR directories Blog and Forum participation - to high PR and frequently crawled sites Social Bookmarking - to high SB sites Press Releases - for more traffic Classified Ads - for more traffic Article Marketing - submit to high PR directories, could also serve as link baits Link Exchange - with relevant and authority sites Link Baits - for organic linking Etc. etc.
  19. You could actually use these to optimize more for keywords - the more keywords or phrases you rank for, the more possible traffic you could get
  20. If you are aiming to rank at Google's UK data center, then you should have the site hosted in the UK... Building backlinks in sites that are also hosted in the UK will help you at that.
  21. Paid directories that manipulate PR and SERP rankings are the ones that are being penalized. Still there are some good and quality paid and free directories that are unscarred The thing is to choose properly where you submit your site to. Another thing - generally, any backlink from any site doesn't hurt you. Time is the only thing wasted building a non-helpful link in terms of SEO
  22. I build backlinks for two main reasons: 1. To help in boosting for our sites' SERP ranking - this is where SE traffic comes from 2. To draw direct targeted traffic from these links - I build them and relevant and similar niche sites PR would be the number 3 for me
  23. SEO is something that we can all do. Its just a matter of having the right resources and knowledge - that's the tricky part
  24. Build more backlinks that would help target your desired audience. Be choosy in building these backlinks as they will also help in your SEO in the long run - its like hitting two birds with one stone in doing so.
  25. Still no change in our sites PR. Was hoping to get a PR5. Guess I would have to wait till the next update to see if my efforts to build our PR worked
