It may have something to do with your onpage factors as Yahoo gives more weight on them than Google. Congrats yo you buddy!

I think what the OP meant was that he started on working to bring up his SERPs a month ago. If the site is still young, it is typically noraml for it to fluctuate on its ranking. Give it sometime until Google sees that your site is prominent enough for your keywords and you will then have stability in your SERP placement. I suggest you nuild more quality backlinks to it for now.

The mid part of your heading looks a bit bare. Color seem a bit pale for me. A darker shade perhaps to contrast the white?

Build dofollow backlinks from other sites that has PR. You'll gradually get PR in time.

Focusing on good content is the way to go (for organic/natural linking) but building backlinks is still a necessity especially for new sites IMO. Quality over quantity - always keep that in mind when building backlinks.
