April 30, 200818 yr Well, I've been holding on by the tips of my fingers for the past 3 updates. Two of my other sites were hit last time and dropped from 5 to 4, so it's almost inevitable. That said, my blog gets more attention (both my updates and backlinks) so.. cross fingers!

I did some optimizing on my site and changed a few of the pages names to more search engine friendly ones and lost all there page rankings glad to say their all now back up to 3 phew!!!
April 30, 200818 yr My blog and a few of my other sites dropped from 4 to 3 and one dropped from 3 to 2..that probably because they have been left a bit abandoned for a while and my blog lost a lot of posts in the wordpress upgrade. One of my clients websites went from 0 to 3 though

April 30, 200818 yr It can be confusing for people who do not understand how search engines work, I always try to explain to clients that they cannot expect to stay in the top ten for ever and that its a constant job to keep up in the rankings.
April 30, 200818 yr I'm quite impressed as I haven't done anything to my site for ages so was expecting to drop to 2...but instead I have moved up to 4 so I guess it being features in a few online magazines and articles have helped it out

May 2, 200818 yr Nope, did several checks - and checked again today - and they're still at PR5. Feeling confident! I never was sure why they dropped to PR4 in the first place. Blasted Google
May 3, 200818 yr I'm happy, my personal site has gone from PR3 to PR4, UKYIA from PR2 to PR3, and my 'biggest' site (a radio station) from PR4 to PR7!!! Our nearest competitor is PR4! And a small community station is better than our local commercial station! Woo!
May 4, 200818 yr Didn't realise this had happened. Many of my newest sites have gone up to 3. My biggest website (Tau Online) is now on 4. It's been either 3 or 4 for a year or more now - Google can't make up its mind lol!
May 8, 200818 yr Still no change in our sites PR. Was hoping to get a PR5. Guess I would have to wait till the next update to see if my efforts to build our PR worked

May 9, 200818 yr link? If you were asking for mine ... I don't think you'll enjoy it too much as it has most of the articles written in Romanian (but here it is ... I think I have about 2-3 articles written in English). Things are about to change in the near future though . I'm thinking of getting a .co.uk or .me.uk domain and then I'll probably write in english.
