Why visitors see my booking form but don't want to fill it?
Hi Jay, I have had a look at your form and from what i can see its ok, it is not to long and all it askes for are the basis so, maybe they are just click on that page for the sake of it to look through the whole site and who your process works

How To Promote A New Website
That is very true and i had not looked at it that way, we can implerment a few payment options and i guess the user would be able to choose what payment option they would like. I was thinking that if i chose a fixed % option of say 3% would this be to much? The other option i have is to charge for diff packages, ie for £10 you can bid on 5 Sites, £15 can charge on 20 and the £20 for unlimited as to speak per month.

Membership Fee or % of contract
247 Web Solutions replied to 247 Web Solutions's topic in Freelancing, Business and Legal DiscussionThe way the site works, is that after your bid is excepted you will recive a confirmation email from our system informing you that your quote was excepted, we would then advise that you supply a contract to the client/clients. This contract will be supplied via a download link on our site. The contract is between you and the client. You would then request the client too compleate and sign the form and if you have requested a deposit this is when its paid. you can also have a staggered payment which has also been inc on the contract. All communication is between you and the client. Clients will be able to contact Freelancers on the site also requesting that they give a quote on a webdesign or work also. We will also be trying in install a feedback rateing system aswell

Membership Fee or % of contract
247 Web Solutions replied to 247 Web Solutions's topic in Freelancing, Business and Legal DiscussionFrom what i have seen of the site like this, they charge for credits before the freelancer can bid on work, and some offer a membership fee. thats why i am not sure what way to go.

Membership Fee or % of contract
247 Web Solutions replied to 247 Web Solutions's topic in Freelancing, Business and Legal DiscussionThanks for the reply, thats one idea that i did not think of, the reason i did this is that we get alot of requests through our website and we also get a few new freelancers asking if we want to outsauce some of our work, so thats what made be decided to do this site

I am in the middle of building a new website for freelance webdesigners to get work from, now i have alot of intrest from poss new clients willing to add new work ie new website builds and website make overs ect but i am stuck on how to charge the freelancers. so can you tell me if you guys would be willing to pay a monthly fee or pay a % in commission for work won through my new site. if you are willing to except paying a % in commission what would be fair? Or Amount willing to pay per month. We are going to be able to keep the prices low as we will also be having a classified adds area and also banner advertising, a max of 7 banners a month tho.

How To Promote A New Website
I will be launching a new freelance webdesign website where new clients can register and then freelancers can join and bid for work. now i am not to sure on chargeing a fixed monthly fee or a % of the winning bid. I would like like to hear ideas on the best way to promote the site as i have not got much funding for this site as its cost alot to build already. So any ideas will be greatly recived.
