February 8, 201313 yr Hey all! Last year I made myself a website (www.wellerwebdesign.com) to advertise my services as a website designer. I haven't really marketed it at all, so it has just been sitting in the corner of the internet gathering dust. I haven't payed much attention to it. I want to start trying to generate more clients, but I don't feel like my current site represents me very well - it seems kind of corporate. Design. Domains. Hosting. Boring. I wanted to create something that is more personal, something that focuses more on my design than my hosting plans. Here is what I've come up with so far. Keep in mind this is only a couple hours work so it isn't super refined, and the content is more filler text than anything, first things that came to my head. Also I can't tell if the picture of myself looks really stupid, so someone will have to let me know about that Let me know what you think: http://www.wellerwebdesign.com/design.jpg

February 11, 201313 yr The revised design you came-up with looks more friendly, more casual. It gives me the feeling that you are easier to communicate with. The color is better than the existing site. Definitely the new version looks more interesting with a little funk to it
February 11, 201313 yr I like the redesign, maybe you can try this font for the headlines http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/capsuula and this for the body text http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/open-sans
February 11, 201313 yr Agreed; Open Sans is an excellent choice. Works well with print too. Off topic, but love your site teodora!
February 12, 201313 yr Author Thanks for the feedback! Fonts look like they will work great, going to check them out now... and yeah I'm going to redo the photo with something better. I'm probably switching up most of the body layout as well... we'll see how it goes!
