I want ask you to review my new web design item. It was developed using the latest Adobe Photoshop software. I want to know your opinion about colors, background, layout, header, etc.?I hope to get your adequate feedback. Thank you

First thing that leaps out at me (or doesn't) is that the least in-your-face aspect of the whole design is the header that says "featured products".

Yeah, always good to get someone to proofread your site...no matter how many times you may of looked at it, you'll always miss something apart from that it's very nice.

 

There is one thing I did notice actually, which is a bit confusing. It looks like a colour co-ordinated site, so everything red is part of the same category etc...but it's not. Red is 'Home page', 'My Account', 'Categories' and 'Social'. So, if I was you, it would be better practice (and would probably look better to) if you kept your nav nice and colourful, try to use a different colour for each nav button, and then ditch the colours beneeth..maybe make them black like the 'Featured Products' header?? You will still have plenty of colours throughout the site, as the t-shirts are pretty colourful?...Just an idea, that's what I'd probably do. Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication

I think the design looks like other thousands. I don't see your unique style. I suggest you to change backround, try to use more bright color. Also you can try to use different font styles. I hope to see yout improved variant.

I can tell you, that this web design is a template. That's why it has such look. I want to tell you that some time ago I asked to view my other web design item. All buttons was the different colors. And dudes said me that I don't need to use different, the same will be better.

I wasn't querying the fact that it says "featured products". I was querying the fact that when everything else is brightly coloured and highly obvious, a black header with white text isn't exactly "featured".

Totally agree with what Renaissance-Design said about a mourning background for Featered products

Ok! Thank you, I understand you. It was my vision of the style, I use too much colors in this template, so I decided try to add black. What color can you suggest me to use?

Mute the colours you already have, and try to create some sort of visual hierarchy. Alternating colours on the main nav (and other items of equal importance) means you can't use colour to indicate relative importance anywhere else on the design, so you'll need to play with size, typography etc.

I also agree with the featured products bar standing out quite a bit....!

 

Although it is therefor also very hard to miss, which is a good thing I guess.

So it does do its job very good, and perhaps should stay nice and black?

 

Good template used, and I like the color scheme, nice and bright, but it is a one of thousands template, a good enough template though for a low-ish priced job I guess.

 

You do need to pay a professional translator to get the content right.

Nothing wrong with your design, although many shops look similar.

 

Dont get me wrong, there must be a reason for this, same as with actual shops on the high street, they follow a similar strategy when designing the interior.

 

People do tend to follow the same path and making a shop very different might cause customers to get confused.

 

Shop sites look the way they do because it is build towards to be the way we shop.

 

Still even your design looks like most shops do, BUT this is not a bad thing Eva.

 

 

 

 

 

 

We follow the same stradegy, because we use the world popular shopping carts. Every system requires a certain position of some design elements. But I agree with you that the design is the same and I will try to be more unique.

Eva Brown creates web design that is far from to be original. I would call that is even banal one

 

But most of web designs created by our esteemed WDF designers (including your humble servant) also are banal and unoriginal.

 

But EvaBrown can make this good and many of WDF participants can learn from her skills.
