  1. a great improvement but i think it looks better without the "galaxy/stars/space" image at the top
  2. personally i think the logo ruins it but the logo isnt really what we are reviewing
  3. no gradients, no glow, no shadows keep it solid, block colours and letters make it in illustrator or another vector programs
  4. when on a mac i use safari when on windows i use safari i have had no problems
  5. question to all the freelance web designers: have many jobs do you usually/aim to get each month? do you target certain companies for jobs? if so how? (for every 10 emails sent out to companies- success rate?) is there a amount of money you aim to earn each month? how easy is it to achieve this?   7. yes, it should be very simple do a nice vector logo in illustrator it should have a minimum of colours (two or three) and it should look good in mono i wouldn't use gradient effects or glossy effects

  17. not sure if many people look at the introductions? hello- jack from somerset england here quite new to this- i know basic xhtml and css but i like to think i am a fast learner i also like design i love the Adobe CS i quite good with photoshop and illustrator i am learning flashcs3 and actionscript i also want to learn javascript(i know basic) then php then maybe c#and c++ (quite a lot to learn but at 15 i have plently of time) i also like to write in short statements jack
