Hi guys, I wonder if you could take a few moments to have a look at this and tell me what you think. It's still a work in progress and I've just started on the project. I am having trouble getting out of the blue but can't find any colours to go with it at the moment <- help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance...

 

It's not bad but it might be worth sticking to a fixed set of blues that go well together if you're doing the whole thing blue.

If you need inspiration for a colour scheme check out Kuler. I've used it loads of times when I've been stuck. You can even download colour palettes for Photoshop.

i dont know whats missing But it looks like theirs some thing missing.

To be honest I really hate the font, its hard to tell what it says and it attracts a bit more attention off the rest of the images in the logo.

 

All I can see first is STS which I had make sure wasn't SWS.

Aha, then either disregard my comment or tell the company you can redesign their logo for a fraction more then the website cost.

I like the header, but I do share the others concerns that its a touch tricky to read but if thats the company logo theres not much you can do about that, the only thing i can think of is fade the background more so the text is more prominent.

Try and come up with something simpler...and im sure you'll see better results

Some colours are very dominant as this block proves.

 

When this happens you must simply strengthen from within.

 

Try outlining the camera’s etc, in the LOGO BLUE to shine their character.

 

Their importance is the name on the label and that will allow them to light up the LOGO.

That is why it has to be the main factor when deciding what will enhance it without disturbing it.

 

It is called a Maze.

Your logo is looking very attractive.

But something missing in this logo.

According to me the background color should be light.

The font style is good. I like the font style.
