Portfolio / Blog redesign feedback requested.

Featured Replies

Code validates, site looks fine in IE6+, FF2+, Safari, and Opera. I would love to hear feedback on the redesign, layout, colors, and over all feel compared to my last portfolio website.

After - New Redesigned Website:

Thanks in advance for you time and wisdom! Smiling

Nice...very nice.

Just one little thing, the h3 tags look like an afterthought......needs a little...sparkle ;)

Hi Curtis

The old website is the one which sells you perfectly.

It doesn’t push itself in one’s face - and is the correct way to guide visitors and more importantly to win them over.

You certainly have worked hard to graduate to this overall standard of excellence.

I hope these words further encourage you.

Good luck

I like the older one better, but they're both good.

I definitely like the new one better than the old one.. there really is no comparison. The only problem I have is that you didn't really put much effort into making it look different from the base theme, Infinity. I find it odd when web designers just use templates for their portfolio websites.. a portfolio should be personal and an expression of yourself.

Hi Curtis,

Your new site looks good, its better than the older one. Contents are simple and tells about your work quickly. Nice having the nav on the left hand side.

UPDATE:

One thing that's odd for some of my visitors is having the portfolio and home page appearing to be the same page. This will not stay like this because as soon as I post an new post that is not a portfolio post then the pages will be different. Basically the portfolio past is just bringing up portfolio post from my blog.

Great feedback so far, please keep it coming!

Also, I would really appreciate it if you could take some time and comment on my blog post for some of my portfolio work. I'm trying to have positive comments and constructive criticism from the web community.

It looks very good mate well done!

Did you ever have a look at what the logo looks like without the black background?

a great improvement but i think it looks better without the "galaxy/stars/space" image at the top

Hi, Love the new site, its a 150% improvement, like Jacko commented I too would like to see what it would look like without the cosmos in the top right of the header, other than that cant Fault it.
