According to w3schools.com as of July 2008 25.3% of people use IE6!!! :bad: :bad: :bad: :bad: :bad: :bad: :bad:

Hmmm... I'll check it out.

I'm an Opera man myself :)

I've used Opera 9.5 it is super fast at processing HTML.

I'm a FF kinda guy myself. I do use IE6 and IE7 quite often. But mostly for testing. Usually if you can get the pages to look the same in IE6 and FF it's a large chance it will look mostly the same in the others.

I'm a Safari man myself, although I'm slowly being converted to the joys of Flock (thanks to Eris!)

ok i voted firefox but am forced to use the spawn of satan IE666 at work.

probably a good thing as I can check all my work out on it and with being a stand alone version sort out all those ignoring conditional comments, pre-loader issues....beware of IE6 be very scared of IE6 stand alone - the dennis nielsen of browsers.

am alos partial to a bit of opera here and there and am gonna now check out flock.

:flm7:

FF3 for main duties with the dreaded IE6 and IE7 for testing only.

Lol, I am going to check out flock. :)

Work PC has IE6 on windows XP. I don't have admin permissions so can't update to IE7 / FF even if I wanted to, and we have to keep IE6 because we use a piece of web-based software which only works with IE6. :(

Home PC has FF on Vista. :)

Sigh! Ok, I will admit...... *hangs head in shame* I use IE (thankfully 7 not 6)

But in my defence, it is only because I am lazy and have the icon on my bar at the bottom.

:D

I use Firefox 3, IE7, Safari on my computer, but use Opera on my phone. Best browser out there is Firefox 3! I don't bother with IE6 anymore because people should have upgraded their browser by now to something which is more standards compliant.

Totally agree with you.

If they don't upgrade it's there problem.

It's about time Web Developers drop IE6. Period.
