domain names with numbers... good or bad?
If http://icanhascheezburger.com/ has a shot, then there's always hope It's basically down to memorability. If a domain sticks in your head then people are more likely to use it again. As BD says it's about context. If you have www.f1shing.com then it's nearly there but most people will just forget about the number and they'll end up at someone else's site. So I wouldn't advise to use numbers to break up an otherwise good word for the sake of it.

Anyone used Pipex?
Only as a home user I'm afraid but they were top notch speeds/QOS for while we were with them. But, attrocious customer service if anything out of the ordinary happens. But that seems par for the course for consumer internet providers.

There's only so many times you can read "Spot goes to School" before the pages wear Thanks, think I'll scrape some pennies together and go for the normal version.

I can't get traffic from social networking site
It's the quality of the content on the site that's the most important thing, not simply submitting it.

Looking for a particular picture
Hi guys, I'm looking for a specific photo and searching the usual iStock type sites I've not found anything that fits the bill. Description: I want a photo of a tin/pot of paint that's spilled over on it's side with the paint coming out, kid of similar to However, I need it from a lower angle. Plus, ideally, I would like the paint to be spilling over the edge of a surface and dripping down. I can work with vectors or images. I know it's pretty specific, hence the problem Basically I've got this idea in my head and I can't get it to work with current pics. Any help appreciated...

Kneeling chairs
If you order anything over the net/phone you should be able to return it in 14 days. Distance selling regulations, should be on their website somewhere.

Kneeling chairs
My old work place had the Aeron / dotcom chairs and personally I never got on with them. No idea why, but couldn't ever get really comfy. Although there are days and days of adjustments to play with, productivity took a dive for a while when they were delivered . I'm of the "if it's comfortable it's right" school of thought. I like to be nearly on my back if I could, but that looks a little odd in the office

Decreasing Hard Disc Memory
Having lots of small partitions is an inefficient use of the space. BUT, if you still think that you still have a problem then Google "Treesize Free" and install it. It's stupidly useful for finding out exactly where all your space is being taken up on a disc. Just right click and run it and it'll show you how big each folder is etc.

Kneeling chairs
I'm on one now It's the better type though that 'rocks' rather than simply static (they're awful) Personally, I don't care for them too much and would gladly take my office chair, especially after a couple of hours. My Dad however swears by it and had had major back surgery, so I guess it's whatever you're comfortable in. I like to slouch really low, and I saw recently that it's actually better for your back to do that than to be bolt upright something like 135 from horizontal. I find that's a lot better than being 'nearly' upright.

Estimate My Sites Value
You can't ask people to put a value on time they don't know you spent If you said "I've spent 20hrs on this and I get X traffic and Y revenue" then we might be able to help, but if you are just giving domains, then we can't know what you have done behind the scenes. Any buyer is going to want to know those figures to put a value on a site. As for your rate, then that's separate to the domains. e.g. I could have a domain that I've spent 100hrs designing and on SEO, but if I get 100 visits a month and no revenue it's worth not a lot, regardless of the "value" of my time. So your rate, and the value of the domain are not interlinked, any domain buyer would purely look for results.

Laptop or Desktop
I much prefer the iMac for general work, I like being at a desk. My laptop is 15.4 so big enough, but I find it too "squashed" to use all the time. I do get more distracted on the iMac though, with teh laptop if I'm struggling then I just turn the wireless and productivity increases lol

Which forum software
Thanks for all your help. I've been playing with phpBB and it certainly looks good, I am just wary as I've been looking after a vB forum for so long now (18K users, 750,000 posts) that it's familiar, so I plumped for it. I've now got it live and next step is a custom style! D

iMac Advice
Sorry, I meant in terms of that you couldn't get a cheaper 20", and then get a faster processor than in the 24, as the 2.8Ghz isn't an option. Might be with Penryn (if they ever update) though as they run cooler. I'd still disagree on Apple RAM though... Anyway, doesn't really matter what you end up with Mac's rule I'm tempted to get a Mini before the redesign to go in the lounge with a wireless keyboard...

Which forum software
Thanks guys, I've installed phpBB on a test site and I like it, might have legs there. Only thing I worry about is that I know squat about it. At least with vB I'm already well versed in it. So as soon as 3.7 goes gold, I'm getting vB for this project, while I test out phpBB on a test basis and learn the ropes there.

iMac Advice
Good luck with the Vet thing, it's worth it for the iMac The 20 and 24 both have the same processor, so there's no speed difference at all. The 24 can have the 2.8 extreme which is a premium, and not worth it unless your video encoding or doing something really intensive. With memory, don't every go with Apple at all. Their memory is extortionate, their 4Gb option is a joke. http://www.microdirect.co.uk/(19684)2GB-Ge...Hz-DDR2-SO.aspx £50 for 4Gb, ebay your 1Gb stick for a tenner and you've got 4Gb for £40, bargain.
