Blinksale

Featured Replies

I found this in another thread,

http://www.blinksale.com

does anyone have any experience with blinksale. it looks pretty good, am thinking of purchasing it, its web based so i can access it anywhere with a connection which is ideal and it looks like it does all the basic like invoicing, time keeping etc..

Edit: just seen another one which is a hell of a lot cheaper. has anyone had any experience with this too?

thanks

I haven't used those 2, heard of them though.

I'm a big fan of (and use) Billings, it's really powerful but doesn't overload you with useless features.

As a user, can you list any bad points about this software or areas that you think there could be improvement?

The auto-rounding up of time (like if you charge per 15mins) is sometimes unpredictable, but nothing major, no.

I've been using it for about a year now and I would have stopped a long time ago if I didn't trust it.

It sounds good to me, the only thing its lacking is not being able to access it over the web.

Its nearly in my checkout basket!

Why would you need to access it over the net?

  • Author

i want to access it from different places, at work and at home, or when im away from my main machine, i dont have a laptop.

I see. Yeah that could be an issue then.

Does OnTheJob have online access?

No it doesnt, i figured I'd need portable access after i posted lol.

Once i leave my current employer I am going to be out and about a lot.

Get a laptop?

Looks like an online service is best for you then. The only other ones I've heard of are Harvest and Tick.
