April 10, 201610 yr I was wondering how you organise the links in your footers and what order you would recommend me. At the moment, this is the text / the links in my footer, in this exact order: At the left of the footer: About | Polls Archive | Contact | @ 2016 Mysite.com … and at the right of the footer: Go to the top ⇧ "Polls Archive" is basically an archive of polls that sometimes appear on the main page, in the side bar. Nothing too big or too important, that's why the link to the archive is in the footer. But I'm not too sure about the order of the left side of my footer. Would you put "Polls Archive" in the first place maybe, and "About" in the second? Or what would you recommend? Or would you leave it as is?

April 10, 201610 yr If you are a perfectionist the links should add value. So you need: Home | Polls | About | Contact Bin the copyright as it means nothing (it's implicit) and make better use of the right side to add more links.

April 11, 201610 yr The footer isn't really looked at but I'd probably have about 3-5 of the most viewed links with either a copyright on the right or a back to top link on the right.
April 11, 201610 yr Very few people click the links in the footer. But I think it's nice to have presentation-wise. Put them in the same order as they would appear in the header.
June 1, 201610 yr footer links are not important. they are using just to add terms and conditions, privacy policy pages etc. important pages like about and contact should be in the footer. to be honest i wouldnt bother having any links in the footer as it only increases the amount of links you have on a web page. Google recommends a max of 100 links per web page

But do not add the blog link in the footer section because users usually do not check the links in the footer section. I have seen many websites, where the blog links are added in the footer section.
