  1. Simple! i would have full coloured backgrounds behind your images to make it look like theres something more on the page
  2. footer links are not important. they are using just to add terms and conditions, privacy policy pages etc. important pages like about and contact should be in the footer. to be honest i wouldnt bother having any links in the footer as it only increases the amount of links you have on a web page. Google recommends a max of 100 links per web page
  3. hey, you can either have your site rebuilt in WordPress and you can easily add new blog posts or you can install wordpress on your server to the directory gunsnroses.com/news
  4. - site loads really slow (over 5 seconds) - use a more relevant banner image - white space under your banner image - your theme looks like grey, white and black and the image above your footer throws all that. keep to the same style. - have a logo created to build client trust - decrease the font size on your price table (£12.50/month) - add a phone number to increase client trust - add a blog hope this helps
  5. use the WordPress theme called Jobify or Listify
  6. The best way to achieve what you want is to use the Listify WordPress theme. Really easy to setup and runs itself.
  7. the standard is usually laid out as below: HOME - ABOUT US - SERVICES - TESTIMONIALS - BLOG - CONTACT US since the eye automatically read left to right its a good idea having your main landing pages pushed over the the left
  8. It not really the best ideas to have 2 nav bars. Will look fine on desktops but on mobile devices it will look terrible and cluttered. you can use WordPress themes that have hidden sidebars that only come into view when they are clicked on. This would be a cleaner option if 2 nav bars are a must
  9. We design in WordPress just because our clients are able to edit their site a lot easier. Building an HTML site from scratch and passing it over to the client to make updates is a nightmare! WordPress does add a lot of unnecessary code from the theme and plugins but this can be removed with a little experience.
  10. Hey, i would suggest dropping the sidebar altogether and move your facebook and signup boxes in the footer. This is because on mobile devices the sidebars do not show until below the content and cause longer load time. If you move your facebook like box in to your footer and move all your <script> code to the bottom of your HTML code you will see better performance and usability. Im going to guess most of your traffic is from mobile devices so your site should be optimised for mobile users.
  11. your website may be removed from their search results. If you have a google webmasters tools account, login and Google would of sent you a message regarding your inbound links. If you havent got a webmasters account i would suggest creating one and linking it to your website as you will be able to find out exactly what the problem is.
