September 4, 201312 yr Although I said I don't listen to regular radio. I do check in to some on SHOUTcast often. Most are ad-free (or limited to just 1 between songs) and got a nice range of genres. [update]: Sounds strange but I occasionally have the sound of rain playing in the background. It helps me fall asleep too but while im working it kind of makes me think it's actually raining and I'm not missing any sunshine outside to distract me. Although we don't actually have any sunshine anyway haha. Sound of rain is actually a good idea will have to give it a try although there isnt much of a shortage of it here it is relaxing when indoors. I tend to listen to tripy chillout electonic music when working, loads on youtube - currently listening to are you shpongled by shpongle, full albums are on there
September 4, 201312 yr For rain sounds try http://www.rainymood.com, I use it a lot if I need to really concentrate. A combination of that and chills me right out. It works so well together. Edited September 4, 201312 yr by Jack
September 5, 201312 yr Well, music is life and it refreshes your mind whenever you're down or just when you want to have something that'll kill boredom out of your busy day..I do play LP songs even if I'm working, it makes me feel alive and kicking!
September 6, 201312 yr Well it's Friday and so today I'm currently working to some classic sounds, like ... http://youtu.be/kp_bI2vU7dE #feelgoodfriday
September 6, 201312 yr I usually listen to anything, here's one I've been listening to recently: Edited September 6, 201312 yr by mrludable
September 11, 201312 yr Probably around the same time I was learning this on bass and smoking Superkings You have good taste!
September 11, 201312 yr That's what I tell my wife Joking aside, anything by The Stone Roses, Black Keys or the Arctic Monkeys keeps me entertained!
September 11, 201312 yr Joking aside, anything by The Stone Roses, Black Keys or the Arctic Monkeys keeps me entertained! I've never been much of a Stone Roses fan, but I haven't given them much of a chance either. Black Keys & Arctic Monkeys though, definitely. Have you listened to AM yet?
September 11, 201312 yr I've never been much of a Stone Roses fan, but I haven't given them much of a chance either. Black Keys & Arctic Monkeys though, definitely. Have you listened to AM yet? Yes mate, I am a huge Arctic Monkeys fan so pre-ordered it. Love it so far. Got tickets to see them in Sheffield in November, can't wait!

September 11, 201312 yr You're lucky, I couldn't get any tickets for UK dates, let alone the gig in their hometown. What's your favorite album by them? I was very lucky, I managed to get 3 (Me, the Mrs and her sister). I wasn't holding much hope of getting any for Sheffield I'll be honest, so was chuffed when I got them. I like Whatever People Say I Am, that's my favourite. AM sounds immense though! What about you?
September 11, 201312 yr To be honest the only one I didn't really like was Humbug. All the rest I can listen to all day!
September 11, 201312 yr To be honest the only one I didn't really like was Humbug. All the rest I can listen to all day! Jumping back in on this... I'm not a fan of Humbug either but like their first two equally. Black Keys are cool. Not the same band as such, but either of you like The Heavy?
September 11, 201312 yr Jumping back in on this... I'm not a fan of Humbug either but like their first two equally. Black Keys are cool. Not the same band as such, but either of you like The Heavy? Never heard them I really like Humbug, but it takes a while to get into. Definitely the start of their maturity as a band. Matt's drumming is solid in that album, whereas the first album is amateur musically in comparison. It's nice to see progression in their music rather than sticking to the first albums trebly sound, I prefer Favorite Worst Nightmare because it's similar, but a tad heavier. Suck It And See is a great follow up, "Don't Sit Down Cos' I've Moved Your Chair" being the highlight.
September 11, 201312 yr I was expecting something... heavier. But nah I like that, I'll have to check out a bit more of their stuff.
September 11, 201312 yr I've heard a few bits by The Heavy but not really listened to them in detail. Will have to give them another look. I know that AM have been supporting The Black Keys (what a concert that would be!) on their US tour, which is where I think their 'heavier' sound of Do I Wanna Know and R U Mine? comes from. Really liking the new album though. Snap Out Of It and Fireside are my favourites.
September 11, 201312 yr Well I'm listening to Electronic Music predominantly. Here is something I like
September 16, 201312 yr Listened to whole of The Lumineers album while I worked today, great album and can not wait to see them live! Edited September 16, 201312 yr by mjarrowsmith4
September 18, 201312 yr Rock music really gets me pumped and active and ready to work my butt off. Right now I'm listening to Within Temptation cause I saw them live a little while ago and I was really impressed. EDIT: How can I embed a youtube Vid? Copying the code from youtube embed doesn't work, neither does using the Code tool in the editor. Edited September 18, 201312 yr by sherban1988

September 18, 201312 yr ...and to continue the rawk Seeing them in 48 hours - woot! Have you been going through my playlist? Hmmm? Next you'll be posting stuff like ... And then I'm onto you!
September 20, 201312 yr Have you been going through my playlist? Hmmm? Next you'll be posting stuff like ... And then I'm onto you! Quite possibly have the same playlists Hopefully I can add to that list. Wednesday night was Soundgarden - worth the wait - they were great; Rusty Cage, Outshined - the lot The support band however were superb - they're called Graveyard. Check 'em out and see what you think (unless you already know them)
October 5, 201312 yr aah. am i the only weird fellow, i dont listen to music when working. its not i cant i just dont want to, i just wanna focus on work every seconds available but during my few minutes break within hours. oh yeah.. play it out loud and then getting back to work.
October 11, 201312 yr Yeah! Pixies I was going to go see them on their new tour but it was something like £60 a ticket or something mad like that. Currently listening to Korn's new album (we have a history and I'm a glutton for punishment). It's actually growing on me. Like fungus. Also listening to a band called Red Fang. I won't post a link as they're not everyone's cup of rock (stoner rock). Heard about them through Rocksmith.
October 12, 201312 yr Anything we do is set by mood. What better way is there to set a mood other than music? When working on a design, we want to get into a groove or a melody of our emotion on that time.Music lets you express things better – it’s like an outlet of our feelings. Designing, on the other hand is also another form of art. So combined together, it will result to a very influenced product.
October 23, 201312 yr It has to be a bit of Drum&Bass for me. The genius of some of the production/engineering is really inspiring.
October 25, 201312 yr Feel good Friday ... crank it up and sing it loud! I counter that with ... (no twerking at the back) Edited October 25, 201312 yr by 4li4s
