Auto Post from WP to Facebook using a business page

Featured Replies

I have created a business page for my site as I thought it was the best when setting up.

I now need to implement auto posting from Wordpress posts. I have subsequently found that business pages cannot access Facebook dev apps, and this is what all Wordpress plugins use as they need an ID (which I can get) and an app secret (I can't create).

What is the best way to auto post to Facebook from Wordpress ? Anyone know any plugins that don't need the above ?

At the moment I auto post to twitter and then copy and paste each tweet in to Hootsuite and stagger the posts to Facebook throughout the week.

Try Wordbooker.

Will have a look.

Tried both, both state how they support pages. However both need facebook dev apps creating. Wasted about an hour on look at various ways.

so the facebook page, is a page and not a group yeah?

My mate uses http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/facebook-page-publish/ but you do need to create a facebook app. Personally i dont recommend it as it doesnt appear to be supported any more, and when I do a post, for some reason it doesnt post an image..

You cannot create an app with a Facebook business page !

Anyway, I've tried Wordbooker, it works, it's probably the worst plugin interface i've used and super confusing, but it works.. Can't be bothered to look for anything else, unless anyone suggests a working plugin for business users.
