I'll start.
 
Whoohoo finally managed to get random posts from a specific category in wordpress to show! Only took me 3 days to be 100% happy with it!

I recently discovered ColorZilla. I have no idea how I lived without it.

Ok where can we start.
 
Colour - does not work,
Animation - Almost works,
Typography - does not work,
Slide shows - To fast,
Content - check your spellings, take out the slide show that consist's of a car stuffed with 'junk'. Give your content room to breath. Minimize the clutter. Add some feel of luxury or at least quality.
Logo - Get a designer to create one for you and build the corporate image from it.
Layout - Pages are too long and try to cover more than one topic on each page.
 
In short it looks and feels D.I.Y. which when dealing with businesses or professionals that would be looking to rent apartments of that type will not sell anything.
 
Personally I would seriously consider what your priorities are, from the website you have at the moment the page gives the impression that the smaller details can look after themselves and all you care about is the pay check. If you want to get paid for the properties you are trying to let out you will need to invest and look professional. Demonstrate the ability to be professional, at the moment with the D.I.Y. look there is no hint of professionalism. You need to do some serious research, yes businesses do want to ensure their staff/customers are well accommodated but NO they don't want them to be dropped off in a swank looking apartment and left to fend for themselves. If any business is going to spend money on quality accommodation they want to know that the services that go with that accommodation are of an equal quality - cleaning, cooking, transport ect don't appear to be mentioned. If such services are mentioned then they are buried in the miles of content that is about you.

Graphic Design ability has nothing to do with painting. As Cosmos pointed out, it's more about an eye for detail and the effective balance between objects, colour and typography. Then communicating all that to yours or your client vision of what is being said... if that makes sense.
 
In another sense, anyone can do a "painting" - and you can argue anything you like about it's meaning - but is it art?
 
As an example, this is one of my 'artistic ideas' for an abstract painting:
 
[step 1] Lay out a large piece of canvas (let's say around 4 x 5 mtrs) on my lounge room floor.
 
[step 2] Throw a few litres of random coloured paint on it - sometimes over my head, so I can't determine where it lands.
 
[step 3] Glass of red wine, flailing hands in the air, stamp up and down on it - in a fit of rage combined with joy - (an occasional pirouette would certainly help) all the while screaming "bastards, bastards, bastards".
 
[step 4] After a rather deserved restful nights sleep.... . . . in the morning, saunter over to my masterpiece and casually vomit on it (although I'm not sure yet, as that seems a touch uncouth) My plan 'B' is to just spray it with the leftover froth from my espresso machine.
 
[step 5] Take it outside to 'rest' for a few months and let the local cockatoo's and other wildlife make their mark.
 
[step 6] Dry it out then frame it.
 
I think I will call it "the devaluation of human creative thought vs the system, tyranny, weather fluctuations and native animals"... - dunno, I may well shorten it.
 
The thing is, what I'm really trying to get at is that . . . hang on a bit . . . sorry . . . hang on... hang on... Sorry, I have to stop typing for a bit . . . ... ... ... ... Whoa!... I think I just won the bid on ebay for a rather large piece of unused canvass!!... hang on... yep.. nup... yep... nup... yeeeiooo.... nahhhhhh....... bastards.
 
Looks like another dream... and wasted talent gone to dust. Oh well, I'll keep you guys informed.

But seriously Stephen, what say me is that I don't know. I'm in a similar situation, as in, 'to focus on the coding or the design'??? - I'm a "mid-weight" designer that works for a print media company that enjoys programming. I'm starting to learn html/css but have been distracted in the last few months by thinking that perhaps 'design' is the way to go...
 
In my view 'coding' is design - a craft... all the little pieces that fit into place for a reason, but it 'has' to work. Whereas artistic design? who cares - the whole thing is not going to break if the 'visual integrity' is broken? I like to think that visual design makes a big difference to selling your product.
 
I'm a bit jaded myself at the moment about a direction to take - hence my hopefully amusing little story.
 
Anyway, log on to 99designs.com (or similar 'crowd sourcing' solutions) to witness the awful truth - if you dare. It will be the subject of my next rant!... oh dear!

[EDIT] I love classic painters such as Turner, and Van Gough's starry starry night. simply beautiful.

Its a very valuable domain. You could probably sell it for at least a few hundred grand+
 
With a working, operating site that has content and engages visitors, adds value to the web and maybe even has good social profiles (no fake followers etc and engagement) that could possibly add double the value to the already valuable domain.
 
You have some good options and I would consider visiting a dedicated domain name forum to see what primary people into domains suggest too.
 
I like what you have on it now, but just putting some adsense on wont make you buckets of cash.
 
Also in terms of search volume, there are 300k searches in Google UK a month for the term "time". Based on the amount of traffic you are getting, you are getting minimum and that could be improved massively- quite easily with a developed site. Plus, thats not factoring other country search traffic like the US etc.

Just out of interest, where did the idea for the domain name come from? I don't see how keyword is relevant to selfie.

Generally I tend to avoid hyphens in names when I can. It can be awkward when you're giving someone a domain name over the phone for example. I'd go for the .sexy domain as it suits the theme of the site much better. The .net one sounds kind of geeky, though maybe you could buy that too and do a spin-off site that focusses on sexy geek selfies in the future?

ecigs are a real battle to swap on to full time. It takes some focus, and effort, but once you do it, its great. No more nasty coughs, or smelly clothes, yet your nicotine requirement is being sorted with nicotine.

What about a house party? When I was a teenager, we had a lot of house parties where absolutely everyone was smoking inside. Or in the night clubs before the ban, at least in my country it was really bad in the night clubs.

This is just a personally opinion because I don't like a big navigation but maybe try when you scroll down to a cetain point have the height of the nav bar shrink a little, to show a little more content on the screen?

Big brands rank because, 9 times out of 10, they actually offer what a user wants. If I'm looking for a jumper, I don't want something that's been knitted by someone.
 
Likewise, if I want electronics, I'd much rather go through Amazon than Joe Bloggs computer shop on the internet with little in the way of trust signals.
 
People say it's unfair, they're a small business and don't get a sniff with search terms but thats not googles fault, they don't rank websites on merit. Don't get me wrong, it's annoying as **** when I can't get above a big brand but they're there because they deserve to be. I just have to be better and focus on revenue more than rankings.
 
Someone set up a small website selling crafts? Look at multi-channel marketing. Facebook is **** hot for this, work with offline businesses as well to sell their products in there. Get into craft fairs and work on building a following. Again, it's a case of looking at the end goal and realising that Google just isn't suitable for everyone. It's not a case of Google not favouring the little guy, it's a case of offering the best results and them not giving any favours to a small craft knitter.

I do like going computer shopping. Freshly opened electronics....mmmmm haha.
