Hey there, I've been working on a personal portfolio for a while now and its finally nearing completion! There are still some bugs that need ironing out, if you find any more don't hesitate to shout at me about them!

Really nice parallax scrolling and in general it looks very good... BUT, there are 4½ things that caught my I that I think you should change:

1. The top is very empty, is there meant to be SO much 'whitespace' (or grey-black gradient space but you know what I mean!)
   
2. Increase the font size, especially for body text and sub-headings. It's almost unreadable in parts.
   
3. On a similar note, the contrast of the greyish black text on greyish-white background really isn't good enough, especially in the body text under the 'Welcome to my Portfolio'
   
4. In the portfolio section, the captions look a little dull and doesn't really seem to fit in with the rest of the site.
   
5. Also, helvetica doesn't work so well at such small sizes and just looks lime arial. Try boosting it from 12pts to as high as 16. it'll make it easier to read and, as a result, it will be read!
   

Having said all of that, it's really nice though maybe lacking a little colour!

Really liked your site (once I scrolled down) but think your missing out on a huge thing. The first bit of the site you see is just navigation (and two of the links are broken), I'll be honest and say I was expecting a rubbish site after seeing this - it looks a bit template-tacky. Just ditch that top bit - no offence but it doesn't meet the high standards of the rest of the site. You need to grab the visitors attention straight away with your elevator pitch.

This site is great, really artistic and different. Love the washing line and peg detail, and the fonts used. Type of site I hope to achieve myself with more practice! I would suggest adding small touches of the turquoise elsewhere to brighten site, and also to think more about the contrast of font colour and background, as not too easy to read. But overall, well done on a fab portfolio

yeah, looks great. Next step is to put some world enlightening content in it, or is the web turning into one mass electronic C.V .
