I am a professional and freelance multimedia designer & wordpress web designer.

I would love to hear peoples feedback of my site as It is always good to hear another opinion.

I made the site with a wordpress template script framework I bought (to save time) and severely edited it to the idea I add.

If you have any questions I would be happy to answer : )

I quite like it, not the most usable but I can forgive that for somebody who deals largely with multimedia (well you say you do but there's a lot of web and print in there). I'm on a brew break so I can't look at in depth at the moment but what I noticed;

- I know you've gone for the subtle approach but your name at the top is far too small, I'd say that whole top strip with the nav is too small. Perhaps bump up the font size a bit and give it one of those dotted borders you've got going on.

- You need to fix the image rollovers, when you rollover one the others move slightly and it's very distracting if not a bit dis orientating

- Looks like you're using the browser default hyperlink colour and it's not readable

- Personal preference, I hate when people put images of a site they've designed on an image of a Mac

- My natural instinct is to click your name at the top to get the original view back, perhaps hide whatever project is open when the user clicks your name

- Email to links are very annoying, just display an email address

- Though useful under some circumstances and quite a nice feature, on a portfolio I don't think many users wants their screen taken up by those digital magazines. Just give an overview and maybe some images or at least give the user the option to view it in that fashion.

- Just as I was about to press post I noticed that arrow at the bottom, that needs making clear what it does, I was wary of clicking it incase it launched some kind of Javascript heavy feature. Perhaps have "About Me" and a little up arrow to give a better indication to what this does.

I have to say its not a world apart from the original.

Also, its not a framework, its a theme.

I like your personal site James but "James also do personal work either for himself, or his friends." should be "James also does personal work either for himself, or his friends."

Hope this helps

Its not so much wrong wording, its just folk round here dont take too nicely to people saying they are professional designers, then asking for feedback on a wordpress theme, that they never actually designed.

My site was built using pro framework (I highly recommend it), if like me you work best with design (rather than code).

Thanks for the spot.
