Logo Creation - Opinions

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am not the best at creating logos etc but have mocked up a couple in PS before attempting to create a scalable vector version.

Please can you give me your thoughts on these I have done so far...

Thanks

EDIT: Updated logo below...

work on the WORX part of number 3 and ya got a keeper

What if I change the WORX text to the same as number #2???

Thanks to all of the above ^.

:)

Try and simplify them down to just black and white, add colour later.

Is this part of your logo creating process??

I am not very good at logo's tbh! :p

Thanks

Number 5 for me :) Glad you got it all figured out in the end!

Yeah thanks circles. (Forgot to plus one you in the other thread, so.... There you go! Plus 1'd you now!)

i'd try simplfying the WORX part. ur over complicating it with crazy fonts or silling objects sticking out of it that dont need to be there

Thanks. That looks pretty good. Although a little 'cartoony'.

Im trying to go for a professional, yet easy going kinda logo/title.

Maybe its the colours? Too bright. Will play around some more!

Ok Here's the latests:

Whaddya think? Colours font etc?

Alzer's version is better — more successful choice of the pair of fonts, where each visually more contrasts with other.

Hi alzer.

What font have you used for the worx??

  • Author

Ok, I have now edited the above into these:

Which one do you prefer and why!?

Thanks

The 4th one's my favourite at the moment, because it combines everything :)

How about trying the cog as the 'o' in worx? Could be tacky, could work..

In all honesty I don't like any of them for a web design company logo, as they don't scream web design. They are ok visually but they remind me more of one of those shops that get set up around Christmas to sell toys and little gadgets that you would only ever buy at Christmas as stocking fillers, than a slick professional web company.

I think the elements are there, I just think that the colours, with that font, with the cogs position just don't work for it intended purpose.

Sorry.

Updated: Not sure on that but worth a try!

Thanks Dizi for your opinions. I can agree that it looks a little 'cartoony' still. I was hoping to get this finished by today :p

Are there any colours you suggest? Or, What if i lose the white stroke/black drop shadow?

the latest one in grey and black is looking 'slick' in my opinion its the best one so far!

Try and tie in the "Inspired" and "Worx" Maybe try to change the cog to the same colour as the inspired. Its looking good!
