Thanks all, great feedback! @Alzer I have tried many fonts, decided on this one. Its hard to fit the 'media' in as the word 'enthused' is quite long compared to it if you get what I mean? Also thanks for helping me stick with this concept, glad I did after!

The 3D logo was created from scratch. Thank you Singleframe, I actually saw that article and I think switching too a bolder font is better and more striking.

Thanks Alzer, the problem is want to create something simple and I loved the concept of the other one I just couldn't simplify it! Where as this one, I totally agree similar stuff has been done before but it works. So my heads in two places. I'm leaving filters out for the moment because I don't want fancy effects to distract me from the actual design. Maybe I should try harder with the other concept?

Haha Ok no problem! Moodle isn't a website builder, that's a very generic term as there are so many ways to build websites. Moodle is in simplified terms a website that's already been made and you install it on the webserver and its ready to go. Obviously you will have to customise it to their requirements, this would be done using desktop software such ad Adobe Dreamweaver. You would need to know a little understanding of both HTML and PHP to get started. I hope I have simplified things for you!

I havent really used any others apart from Code Igniter, that's probably because Code Igniter is so damn good!

I would use a framework like Code Igniter to speed things up and ensure your using the MVC architecture.

Its not cheating as long as the original image is yours, its just the same as any other tool you would use in the program. It doesn't always produce good results either so sometimes you have to revert to the good old pen tool.

I'm totally thrown with this, I wont let it defeat me though! I have looked into the various free databases which contain all the countries and cities of the world along with their longitude and latitude. I'm thinking of using one of these so the user can select their country and city then search within a number of miles. I would prefer to do a postcode/zipcode search instead though. I appreciate the help! Does anybody know of a way to use google maps api to do a search like this?

Hi, I'm hoping one of you can help me out with this as I have no clue where to start! I need to create a postcode search feature, where by a user can search for other users within a specific mile radius. My PHP/MYSQL knowledge is good, just have no idea how this would be calculated? I have looked up the Google maps api feature and was wondering if that could help? Any ideas, would be much apreciated! Thanks in advance!

You have managed to create a simple logo, but I think you need to totally re think it and try and incorporate something to do with groceries in the logo. The text is too harsh as well.

Codeigniter is definitely one of the best PHP frameworks out there, and my favourite!
