    starcomputersupport got a reaction from Lewwy in Problems with the web developer
    I would give him an ultimatum in written letter, by recorded delivery, and keep a copy. If you go to small claims they really want to see that you have done everything you can to solve the problem. Stop communicating with him via phone, because anything which is said means nothing in court.

    Give him a dealine day to either refund you money, or deliver the completed website. If he doesnt meet the deadline, file for small claims which you can do online. It will cost you £15 but I bet you it gets a result. He will have to act upon it, because if he doesnt he will end up in serious trouble.

    That would be my advice.

    I've got to say, Sharepoint is just about the most fully featured and well supported CMS you are likely to find. It is brilliant, and a totally mind blowing product. Go and see a pro demo of it, and I'm sure you will be blown away.

    A major point...don't go 2007. the upgrade path to 2010 is a nightmare, so you really should be looking at 2010.

    If you have a situation where you want your marketting people, or any other department to be able to manage their own subsection of the website, then sharepoint is ideal. It can integrate with things like oracle, sql, exchange, etc and create a custom interface on a per user basis.

    On the flip side...it's complex....my god, its complex. You almost need a dedicated person to manage it. Be very careful before delving in, because if you get your sharepoint setup wrong from day one you are going to have a world of trouble in the future. If your' new to it, hire a consultant.

    I'm sorry, but it totally riles me when I hear any SEO company making these claims.

    According to your text, they made the promise of gettig you to page 1 of Google even before they knew which keywords you wanted. So if you had have chosen the keyword "tshirt" would they still have got you there? I don't think so.

    The only way anyone could make the promise getting to you to page one is by two methods;

    1. They have a news-site and can get your site in an article onto page one. Which isnt strictly getting 'your' site to page 1.
    2. They have used Adwords, which obviously anyone could do.

    If anyone wants some genuine SEO prices please contact me, as I wont offer things which I cant deliver.

    Oh...and a little Googling found this lovely article;
