Can I suggest that you design your site in photoshop first, rather than code it up straight away. You'll have far more freedom to quickly change the look... I have no idea what your site is about when I first look at it. Research into similar concept website for ideas, and add some images.

You need to define the 2 columns and footer as well as the navigation. The line-height on the text could be reduced a bit. Keep at it!

First thing I see is 'Design Studio, the professional web designers'... you say your not looking for the wow factor!?! I'm afraid the site doesn't look like it's been designed by a 'professional web designer' and if I wanted a 'professional web designer' to designer my site, I'd expect the 'professional web designer's' website to have a bit of wow factor to draw me in. The design is very dated, mainly the top section... the logos not sharp, and the phone numbers to big and bulky floating in mid air. The text on the image banner is poorly placed and too big. You have plenty of content, just needs a bit more time spent in Photoshop. Hope this didn't sound too negative...

I don't have negative feelings about flash, I like flash, but when used in the right places. As you see the majority of the reply's for your post seem to be of the opinion as myself.

Why is it flash? Could of done that normally and used jQuery.

Did you design these templates in Photoshop? Not much too them...

Do you know much about JQuery? We use a CMS ourselves, and we get round loads of code barriers using JQuery. You can potentially remove all the class, styles from your navigation and add your own!

I'd bin the header and start again to be honest. The red glow text looks really poor. Reduce the height by 100px and make your logo smaller... I don't think it needs to be so large! The about us page needs a clear to stop the rightside bar overlapping. Remove the text-decoration on the navigation, use a colour over-state instead.

I think the Manga graphic lets it down to be honest. The green clashes with the orange, and overall is pretty bland... sorry Design the site in Photoshop, then post your visual on here for review rather than code it up from scratch and show us a have finished webpage.

Thanks for the comments guys... She wanted a room of her own to match her personality. Yes she runs a management company for Dentists, but didn't want to show anything related to a dentist on her site! We completed the brief... am glad you liked the design and thought about the fact the design didn't seem to relate to it. Thanks again

I think it's best to ask 'what do you think?' when the sites fully finished... Not very professional seeing 'Coming Soon/Under construction/Lorem Ipsum' pages. Not a bad start though!

Like I say to most on here. 'Open Photoshop and design your site. Then when your happy with the finished visuals, start coding it up.' Don't know if there's something wrong with the site files, but it looks poor.

Yes, I ment design a full set of visuals in Photoshop, then code it up. I'd never use Photoshop to write HTML! Why use as few images as possible? Make it look visually great

I'd open Photoshop and design your site, rather than code one up! Looks like no efforts gone into your navigation. Put more effot into your contact page... the hand looks poor because it's cut off. Make your input fields the same width as the textarea. Why not use a graphic for your button instead of the default look? I could go on...

Not a bad start... 2 would be the best if the containers looked a little better, use curves like the purple box above it. Put some info in your footer and do something with the phone number... it's just floating there. Keep working on it

In your HTML you want the address of your images to just be thumbnails/tn_limelight.jpg. Remove all the text before it. The address your seeing wont work unless your on your pc you created it on.

Your info box background looks a bit scruffy because parts of it are cut off round the edges. 'Portfolio is currently under construction Please visit again soon.' A blank Protfolio doesn't want to make me visit again. Why not style your send an reset buttons on the contact page with graphics? Why not add some social bookmark icons on there and link to your twitter and facebook, if you have them?!

Are the others showing a box with a red x in? Sounds like the source is pointing somewhere else... Chech the html of the images or right click an view properties in your browser on each image to see where its trying to pull in the image from.

Suppose it's like having kids... let them make their own mistakes!
