I am a smoker, non smoker. I find it pretty easy to quit at any at time. Sadly this is a doubled edged sword as I tend to start smoking again safe in the knowledge that I can quit again.

I had the same issue on my mac when I installed the new os. I updated everything include JAVA and it works now. FZ

I agree, I think treehouse is a great way of learning web development in a fun way. I signed up for the 14 days just to see what it was like. My son ( 13 ) who had no web design experience made his first site in a few day. FZ

You could do it with magento, but but you would need to buy a plugin or hire someone to add those functions. I think you could also do it with social engine. FZ

Both are pretty dull to be honest. i would ask your designer/developers to look at other gaming/app companies before doing anything else, give them some good examples and flavour of what you are looking for. here are some sites to look at: http://www.rovio.com/ http://www.zeptolab.com/ http://halfbrick.com/ http://www.supercell.net/ If I had to choose, I would go with 2 I think it is a less boring design. I really dislike the fact on design 1 that everything is centered. Just my honest opinion

I signed up to treehouse on a 2 month free trial just out of interest. Their approach to teach simply html css and php is easy and fun. I would definitely recommend treehouse if you are a complete novice.

My work flow is normally notepad and pencil ( moleskine note pads ) mind node for understanding my design Balsamiq for wire framing http://balsamiq.com/ photoshop for a visual mock up just a plain old fashion text editor for coding ( notepad ) I also use coda ( not coda 2 )
