I do like it, but you might want to spent a little bit more time on the typography. I wouldn't recommend showing your old projects that are not good enough in your eyes and not showing your current qualities.

The first impression was really good, I like the overall feel. Not design-wise – I believe that you are doing a big mistake with the "skills" section. Better jobs comes with specialization, I would recommend you to offer only the very few things you know really well and don't even mention the rest there. This is something you will find in any good business/freelance books.

Hey guys! Yesterday I released the new version of Albumarium. It has been around for few months already, but after the redesign it's a completely different site. All images there are under the CC or CC0 license and you can filter the commercial (to use in your websites, templates...) or non-commercial – depending on your needs. What I think would help you much more are better team photos and a bit of white-space fixing here and there.

1) Because it's clear that the author of the first layout actually knows something about typography and isn't just mindlessly "placing" text on the page. 2) Because it's more memorable. The new design looks more boring and template-ish 3) The white-space is bad in the new one. Considering that the new design doesn't really bring anything new, I wonder why would anyone change the current design with it. I'm not saying it's perfect, but it's better than the new one. Just my opinion, of course.

It looks alright, although I'm not really a huge fan of the font choice and the layout. For inspiration, look at this awesome website with similiar content: http://minimalmonkey.com/ simple, yet original layout and great usability.

Aesthetically speaking, it's great! At first I was a little bit confused with the layout, but it's original and memorable. Definitely one of the best portfolio sites I have seen here on wdf so far.

I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings. I just don't like telling people it's good when it's not. From my experience, people (myslef included) usually get better from hard criticism rather than soft and kind comments, just so the author doesn't get offended by any chance. I would rather hear a very harsh comment on my work from a great designer than kind and cheering comment from someone average. Now, of course, I don't want to sound cocky by calling myself a "good designer", but I do believe that I have more experience with web-design than you. I was just trying to help. I said the structure is out-dated. You countered that this was a utter rubbish opinion. Ok, let me explain: Modern approach is showing only the most important and relevant information, short headlines, brief copy, few call-to-action elements. I will use your link – http://www.heartinternet.co.uk/ – do you really think that your website and this website are on the same page about this? You actually linked a perfect example of how this should be done. You don't have any call-to-action elements on the homepage at all. You are offering the user a big number of options with the same priority – this is part of structuring the layout, knowing your goals and how you want to lead the user throughout the website. Don't get me wrong. "Old-fashined" doesn't necessarily mean it's all wrong – it's just too "classic" and template-ish.

I'll be honest with you – it's bad. This is the way how websites were done like 5 years ago, the structure is old-fashioned, the graphics looks ugly (yea, you can of course blame it on "everyone has different taste") I'm being harsh only because you are actually offering webdesign services, so your site should look more modern and professional. To give something constructive: 1) Change the logo 2) NEVER use justified text on web 3) Less is more – noone will read all the text you got there, focus on short and brief headlines 4) Add "Our work" section

I like the color choice. There are some small mistakes here and there (the button "view porfolio" looks wrong on my side, the spacing is a bit off at some places, ...).

Good work. It needs few touches to the typography (as mentioned above, the font is not easy to read and some texts are totally unreadable) and to the contrast and white-space and it's going to be a good site.

Good theme choice, the website looks good, although there are some spacing problems I would recommend to look at. One more thing – in my opinion the logo is too big. It's not neccessary to make your logo big, however sad it sounds, people won't care more about your brand if you show them a big logo. The problem with it is that the whole header looks weirdish because of it – if it was a little bit smaller, you could have the same (or almost the same) good spacing as in the theme demo.

Yea, it is unique. Can't say I am a huge fan of how you present the work, but the first impression is definitely good.

This style is quite old-fashioned, which by it self doesn't mean it's bad, but the today's web is heading towards other directions and for a good reasons. First of all, it's hard to navigate when all those fancy effects shines on you, the information isn't very well structured and overally it doesn't make me want to stay there very long. On the other hand, in a way it's rather unique and a bit of erasing here and there and slight changes in the layout, should be enough to make it into a good site.
