Designers Thinking Outside The Box

Hello!

How do you rate my website and logo?

www.dtotb.co.uk

Please be as critical as possible as it all helps! (most of the content is still under construction)

Many Thanks

Very nice site.

I like all the images that are used in the slider looks very modern when an image quality is good.

The navigation is nice and the colour scheme is to.

the logo is good but I think maybe change the icon, the images inside look like something you would see on google images. Its not bad but I feel abit more creativity could be nice.

I really like it. Modern, clean and functional.

My only criticism would be the logo. I prefer more simple logos but i guess thats personal opinion. :)

I hate it, all of it!!!

Only kidding, looks really good buddy, I would agree with all of the above comments, which isn't much help I know.

The website looks pretty solid with the colors and white space, though I do see its the Venture wordpress template. As for the logo perhaps work on the rubrics cube making the edges more boxy rather than the rounded edge feel.

thanks for that i also thought it was a bought theme ;) but dint find it at that time... if thats so i still dont understand why ppl ask for reviews of a website thts not 100% original???

Good theme choice, the website looks good, although there are some spacing problems I would recommend to look at.

One more thing – in my opinion the logo is too big. It's not neccessary to make your logo big, however sad it sounds, people won't care more about your brand if you show them a big logo. The problem with it is that the whole header looks weirdish because of it – if it was a little bit smaller, you could have the same (or almost the same) good spacing as in the theme demo.

If I walked to the local ford showroom and bought their latest model could I claim it was my design?

I think there may be a few interested parties getting in touch very quickly if I did try that!

The design by 'Sunil Joshi' is great, and if I had designed it I would not be happy at people asking for reviews of my design as if they had designed it.

Definately G-1

The font is too small imo. It's only 14px in the introduction. Use minimum default font size(16px).

The transitions between the images on top of the site doesn't look very smooth, maybe a bit too fast, I'm not really sure.

It's a solid theme, but if i was a design agency i'd take pride in not using a pre-made theme. Sadly clients wont know the difference, only professional would.

And i like the logo the best out of the whole site,

I say I like the design, and the colour scheme, not sure about the logo, but as far as the layout goes well thats not origional so I could not comment.... A custom theme would be reviewed but not an existing them with some alterations....

If downloading a theme is as creative as you can be, I'd consider changing your company name.

I also doubt the ability of designers that offer brand identity, then question whether their own logo is any good.

Maybe we should have another section for those who want feedback on other people's work?

I will say you choose a handsome theme which isn't always easy to do.

If you want to know what people think about the content that's another story.

As for the logo the little cube looks like he's farting- at least that was my first thought. (Sorry if that sounds snarky)
