Anyone know of any credible directory submission sites/tools?
Stay away from automated directory submission tools, they'll do you more harm than good. Get listed on the BOTW and the Yahoo directory if you have the cash, and only go for directories which are human edited and approved. Any 'auto approved' directories won't do much for SEO, and they are even worse for you if they charge a fee. If you are looking to expand offpage links (which is good) start writing some short articles to publish to Ezine Articles and Go Articles, although the links are 'nofollow' they have lots of weight in Google, so pick your titles and get 250-300 words down. Hope that helps!

Multiple Sites : Same or Separate Hosts
Are you looking to link the 20 sites purely for SEO purposes, or are they related and relevant to the user? If they are linking together purely to acquire links, you are effectively setting up a mini link farm, which is not good and won't help your SEO. If you wanted to go down that 'grey hat' route, and get away with it, then unique IP addresses for each of the domains would be needed, at the very minimum. I'd urge you to think about the users first though, are the links really of benefit?

What's your single best SEO tip?
Ongoing commitment. You need to keep up the work level you started out with, across all areas, for at least 6months. With that in mind, make sure you pick a topic you are interested in! You'll get to know it inside out once you are ranking well in the search engines.

Re duplicate content - that's the best result you would see. Sites that hit it, and get discovered, do get deindexed and in a lot of legal hot water.. Feel free to add these to the comments on the blog post..

How to enter extra Google links like this website did
In addition - If you are lucky enough to get them, you have no control over which site links get displayed, but you can view them in the webmaster tools.

How to enter extra Google links like this website did
There is no guide from Google as to how you get these 'sitelinks' below your URL. However, the sites which get them usually generate high traffic, have well developed internal page linking, and have lots of links to the pages listed in the sitelinks. Again, these observations are nothing concrete, I wish I knew more!

wordpress subdomain SEO
A separate folder is better for SEO. If you are talking about the hosted Wordpress version, then you have no choice but to use the subdomain. Download the Wordpress source and setup a new 'blog' folder on the server and install from there. PM me if you get stuck.

Google Ignores Web Forwarding?
No problem. The concept is simple - if your site is listed (and linked to) on sites Google checks every minute, then you'll get noticed faster. These early backlinks to your site are what you need, don't worry about changing the code of the page. Setup a number of social media accounts (Twitter/Digg for example) which are related to your industry. Once your site is ready, share/bookmark your new site on the social sites. Keep it relevant, add to the social side and don't spam. You'll see the site indexed with a few hours, not weeks or months. Now that has to be worth a +1!

Google Ignores Web Forwarding?
Social bookmarking the site, regardless of content will see it indexed rapidly. My record is 30minutes for a brand new domain!

Email addresses for clients
Yes, the user (or you) would have to setup the account on the machine. Why don't you ring them and talk them through it? Its pretty straight forward, even for the biggest technophobics!

Email addresses for clients
Getting a reply from a hotmail address never looks great for a business, so avoid the forwarder option. Setup a standard POP or IMAP mailbox, and then configure the email client (EG; Outlook) to collect the mail. A very simple process that should take no longer than 10minutes. Here are my guides on how to do that; http://www.tbomedia.co.uk/knowledge-base/ Webmail is also an option once you have the mailbox setup. Hope that helps? Get back to me with any questions if not.

Is this frowned upon
Its a server side status code which indicates a page has moved permanently. Its the best way to ensure users and search engines get to your main website, enter the old domain and you get forwarded instantly to the new one. You can setup a 301 redirect using your hosting control panel, or directly coding the htaccess file on the root of the domain. You would need to include the following in the htaccess file of the old site; Redirect 301 / http://www.new-website.com/ Save it and re-upload.. should forward nicely. Give me a shout if you get stuck.
