Hi I would appreciate some expert advice from a SEO point of view. I'm currently designing a new product, the new business hasn't got a name yet, any addvice when naming a new website would be great? I do have a possible 3 word business name, is it better to have the 3 words all together or separated by dashes for SEO? www.firstsecondthird.co.uk or www.first-second-third.co.uk? Second question- i intend to be making the first batch of new products early next year, is it a good idea after deciding on the name to produce a one page website out on the internet saying coming soon etc, would this help SEO when it comes to producing a full site? The copy won't be there long, it's getting a bit confusing with it running in the background. So far i've: Made sure the site validates Used title tags properly? Used meta tags for description and keywords Used heading tags correctly? I've submitted the site to a few directories, i also need a sitemap. What next?

Hi I'm currently in the final stages of my first website, now wanting to concentrate on SEO but also know SEO should of been part of my design, can anyone recommend any SEO software, free or paid? Is Internet Business Promoter (IBP) any good? Or is this board all about doing the SEO for yourself and paid software frowned upon? sorry for my ignorance! cheers

Hi I've been recommended the jQuery lightbox plugin by Leandro Vieira Pinho, it all seems quite straight forward until i try organising the files. With every file on the same level the lightbox works great, when i start to put my html files in a folder i obviously have to start changing levels to still get the lightbox to work using ../ etc. When organised how i would want i can get the lightbox to work by changing the paths of the jquery.lightbox-0.5.css, js/jquery.js, js/jquery.lightbox-0.5.js files but without showing the icons to close/next/previous to show. There is a image folder with these pictures in but i can't see where or which file references the image folder so i can change the levels to find these pictures?

Now had chance to play around and as mteam said i still can't have an h3 inside the <a> as it is exactly the same problem as before - block element inside an inline element. Was hoping to still use the h3 as it's a product category section on the homepage so quite important. I have now 4 equally sized <a> tags changed to display block and floated left with pictures of product categories inside. I just need to be able to label each category with the h3 tag which is easy inside the <a> but harder to position if outside the <a> as Gareth has suggested.

Hi, this is probably very easy but i'm not thinking straight this morning. I have a <div> tag with a border and contained inside is a <h3> tag and a <img> /picture, i have put <a> before and after the <div> to make the whole <div> into a clickable link. Also added a:hover to change the color of the <div> border when hovering. Validation can't happen though as you can't have a block level element inside an inline element. What do i need to do to make the whole div clickable and still be able to validate? Thanks
